want to buy summer set on steam but i have an interesting issue

So i have a bit of a unique issue.
so about 2 years ago i bought this game on steam but my computer is weird i guess and after a long and grueling ordeal getting this game to work (almost an entire month trying fiddling with settings and files downloading and re downloading) i ended up using the cd key from steam made myself an account on eso online site and downloaded it directly from the official site and holy lord it worked i could finally play eso properly.
fast forward 2 years and i havent played in a while but i still have PTSD from this ordeal so i wanted to buy this new expansion through steam (easier for me cuz i already have that all set up)
will this automatically update my account on the official website or will i have to re-use my cd key from steam on this account?
i want my purchases for this game in one spot.

He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
