    Hmm let's see …

We could have more elves - maybe an island where the bitey elves eat all of the snooty elves and grumpy elves?

Or an island totally full of doggies - the island that a sense of smell forgot …

Or we could have a daedric realm where the wine has run out?

Or another island where there is no yarn and everyone must amuse themselves only with rocks.

Actually Khajiit wants only to go Elsweyr of course but accepts that all of the above they are more probable.

I know we are far from done exploring Tamriel, but what I'd really like is Apocrypha, Hermaeus Mora's realm of Oblivion!

They could also easily reuse the assets from Skyrim, and it would be my dream to explore that chaotic and ever-changing demonic library once again.

Maybe we can give Zenimax Studio's an idea on which DLC/Chapter to choose for 2019.

Type the name of the DLC/Chapter you want to see next for the year 2019 :)

2019 is already chosen. As would be 2020, based on what is introduced in this year’s murkmire. 2021 would be the soonest phase that might possibly be affected by player desires.

They don’t whip these things together by the seat of their pants, no matter how much cranky forum posters want to be a-holes. Think about it - they have Darien being an auroran in summerset released in 2018, and the seeds of that were included in the original base game which was released in April 2014... and THAT bit of storyline was imagined and plotted out, dialog written and in-game text prepared, a year or more earlier. So they had Darien being an auroran 5 years before summerset storyline hit the store shelves.

Where you should look for clues to what comes after murkmire is comb through the loose plot threads of summerset and vvardenfell and shadowfen and dark brotherhood. Look for ties to murkmire and black marsh. Yes, that means questing and reading and probably on a new character so you don’t overlook anything.

Pretty much this, and do it properly.

And its 10 years before we run out of space. At that time ESO will be as old as WOW.

I think we will finish tamriel by 2022

Would be perfect really. We can get Skyrim in 2021 for the anniversary, a few years off or with smaller releases (or filling in things that aren't there), and then in 2024/2025 for the 10 year anniversary of the game (or Tamriel Unlimited) we can get started in somewhere like Akavir!

Pulling out my mystical hat and crystal ball...

I am pretty sure that the days of ESO are numbered, and currently counting down. Not to be a downer, but we all know that this game will not go on forever, and ZOS knows this better than all of us. I am sure they have the future of everything ESO set down. Maybe the dates are not in stone, but I think they have an excellent idea what is coming, and for how long.

I think that ESO will be winding down as TES 6 rolls out, and that TES 6, built on everything that BGS has learned from Starfield and Fallout 76, will take over. As with every previous Elder Scrolls game, ESO is just the babysitter until the next one comes along. More than that, ZOS will want to move on to new games, the first of which is almost certainly being worked on, with desired release dates penciled in. I mean, unless ZOS staffs game developers just to give that Kitchen Staff new hire something to do.

Whether that allows ZOS enough time to finish Tamriel is debatable. They will finish Tamriel only if they have enough time and development resources between now and Game 2/TES 6 to do it. Edit: Personally, I do not think it is going to happen.

    Elsweyr.

After Skyrim, I wouldn't trust Bethesda with anything. That's why I'm glad they're going to High Rock for their next game. The safest location they could pick, filled with average white blokes. It was absolutely just the safest option outside of Skyrim. That's kind of what Bethesda is doing, now. I think Todd Howard would rather be making Game of Thrones: The Game rather than anything Elder Scrolls.

The thing is, though? ZOS has already shown me that they can handle multiple kinds of khajiit in the same game (a feat Bethesda has never managed in one game), they've shown me through the Thieves Guild and Clockwork City just how powerful, emotional, and strong their character writing can be. I got swept up in the tide more than a few times. I still think they could stand to hit with beefier uppercuts to the feels (not by killing anyone, though, as that's just cheap) but their only slightly lacking feelsy pugilism is the only criticism I'd have.

Plus, their environment designers have been knocking it out of the park lately, too. The way they handle clutter is sublime, my partner and I often talk about it. I've had experience with area design and I appreciate just how good they've gotten. It's night and day versus the old world. Though the old world is a mix of both experience and that there were bigger restrictions there. I'm definitely thankful the new world looks as good as it does, though. And I mean aesthetics. I couldn't care less about the fidelity. It's about the character and feel of a place, its identity, its personality. If you can't give an area that, you've failed. So many MMO (and even non-MMO) developers fail at this.

I think they're ready. ZOS, you're ready. Give us Elsweyr.

I'm still waiting for the sequel dungeons for:
    • Arx Corinium
    • Volenfell
    • Direfrost
    • Tempest Island
    • Selene's Web (please!)
    • Blessed Crucible
    • Blackheart Haven
    • Vaults of Madness
This should be a no-brainer for a dungeon DLC for ZoS - no new sets (except new monster sets), re-use the same locations (with a few extra rooms and effects added), no extra work above what they would already be doing anyway (re figuring out new boss mechanics etc.), and lots of inspiration already there for the quest/storyline. Easy and cheap way for ZoS to add content.

Please no necro, we have enough broken pet builds /classes. Any other class would be better, or try making the existing classes more unique instead of every stam class feeling the same, and magicka classes the same as each other

I vote for another daedric realm. I love Coldharbour and I really like the locations in Evergloam and Spiral Skein that we have seen. I enthusiastically agree with the previous post... Apocrypha would be an outstanding addition! It would be tricky handling this though, as it may be odd seeing hundreds of other players running around in such a mysterious location.

I know we are far from done exploring Tamriel, but what I'd really like is Apocrypha, Hermaeus Mora's realm of Oblivion!

    Winterhold

I think it's time they bring us back to Skyrim, and the fact that it's a Skyrim zone will inevitably bring in new players. I thought they did a fantastic job with Falkreath hold. Instead of trying to directly recreate what Skyrim had like they did with Riften and Windhelm, they redid it from scratch(sort of) and it turned out much better than the Skyrim version. Unfortunately it was just a dungeon. Anyways i want to see Winterhold in it's glory days before it fell in the sea, the college, and i personally love snowy zones.

There's always the one guy that mentions Skyrim is too recent so they won't be revisiting it so soon. Well, Skyrim is not recent at all for a video game, it has been 7 years. Normally we would have had another ES single player by now.

Im going to be the black sheep here and say I wanna see the reach.

And no I do not mean the "reach" from skyrim thats pitifully small in comparison the REAL reach that boarders skyrim, wrothgar and bangkorai.

I want too see the land of the reachmen and the hagravens and such. I do like some good ole dark magic and such so.

I cba with the khajit. I like raz and such but some of the khajit voice acting in this game is not the greatest never has been in any ES title actually so you know apart from raz im not really looking forward to their homeland...

The Reach is actually my second choice after Dagon Fel (and could actually be Chapter sized to boot. Plus, Markarth!).

Third and fourth choices are Colovian Estates and the Blackwater.

I would love to see something with the sload, maybe a bit of their home.

Additionally, not really a landmass, but the idea of ZoS updating the guilds and giving them a further bit of depth might be really neat. Maybe new story arcs with updates to the systems like theivery or assassinations, though its the mages guild and fighters guild that might benefit most from something new.
