CP Bonuses - Worth it?

I'm curious, how do people allocate CP. Go for that 120 CP bonus, or spread points more evenly on every discipline?

I usually go for as much of 120 bonuses as possible.
NB enthusiastic:
  1. Woodhippie stamblade - DW hard-hitter / PvE
  2. Know-it-all elf Magblade - Healer / PvE & PvP
  3. Hate-them-all elf Magblade - Destrostaff AoE monster / PvE
  4. Cyrodiil-Refugee stamblade - Stamina Tank / PvE

Go dominion or go home

I don't usually look at many of the bonuses, just increase the stats which are important to my builds.
Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.

Haha, I got branches with 200+ all in one part of the tree.

The passives are sometimes really helpful. Butcher for instance is a really nice passive.

Additionally as I understand it, the different abilities in the trees the numbers get rounded down, so if it says it increases an ability by 19.99% it's really only 19. To make matters worse some of the abilities are rounded down even if it says it increases it by 19% it's really only 18%, you have to get to 19.01% to really get 19%. So unless you are unlocking a passive there is no real reason to spend a solid 100 points in any ability that increases (or decreases) on a percent basis, since you're not getting the last percentage point. So the diminishing returns promotes the concept that you spend your CP in a distributed manner.

The "when you dodge roll, enemy gets off balance" passive is worth. Dont know about others

Direct damage, elemental/physical damage, mag/stam recovery, sprinter, break free. I always forget the red perks. Quick recovery, dot mitigation, direct mitigation, elemental mitigation. Sometimes bastion.

You're better off spreading out due to diminishing returns. 75 points in regen gives you 14% regen. 100 points gives you 15%. That's 25 CP for a 1% gain.

Some are good, some a just crap, for example the CP120 for 1300 Shield while blocking is a joke for 120 points.

Thank you for this. I've been spending probably too much on erosion, as i usually want the spell penetration to be around 4000 - 5000. Dear lord.
