Yes same for me. The voice is fine, I just feel the humor is really forced. It's trying to be funny, but isn't.

I have completed the Psijic skill line on four characters so far, and the only thing that made me not want to fall off my chair from the boredom is the Augur’s voice and comments. Granted, I don’t get the same kick out of the jokes now after hearing them multiple times over, but I do love the Augur’s delivery: he’s funny and excitable, and for all his biting comments about ‘meatbrains’, the fact that he stays with the Vestige at the end, shows that he just wanted a friend to listen to his awesome factoids and witty repartee I think the actor did an amazing job, admittedly the accent makes some words difficult for me to understand, but the line delivery is great (and the way he says ‘monkeys’ is so cute ).

Grats to the writing team for making him adorable. The accent also helps from the voice actor.

You're right, he does ask you for a drink, initially. But I could've sworn that at the end he only insists on it (in a flirty manner, which the player can reciprocate or not) if you're female, so I paid attention the most recent time I did this quest:

The skullie is hilarious! I was so annoyed with options "store in vault/give to Josajeh", yes I know I get a collectible, but why is there no "Come with me" message? I am quite sure the Vestige doesn't lead a boring life there

As to the Augur (or 'Bob' as I affectionally call him) I love him! He was the reason I giggled my way through that questline!

It's possible he was bugged and giving the same dialog to male characters at one point. Last time I ran Glenumbra on a male character, the Guardians were speaking German regardless of your language settings, so it's been awhile.

Okay, yeah, I have definitely run through that on a male character and gotten his dialog for female characters. So, that was probably a bug.

I never really liked him, frankly because he tries WAY too hard to be funny, his voice gets tiring and easily annoying within a short amount of time. Finally, as another commenter said, forced humor.

Agree he is fantastic made the so boring psiijic quest funny. The voice actor *** kills it haha. Just epic.
