what I'd like is when I'm idling in town or doing crafting to see Sorcerer minions that aren't all white and light purple pls&ty

they're cool but they're everywhere and it makes pet Sorcs kind of homogeneous
when a problem comes along u must fus it

Wardens should be able to tame other critters, then the skin goes into a collection we can choose from to change the look of our companion whenever we want.

A wolf, spriggan or panther would be amazing to take the place of a bear.
    *Edit* Sabre cats, too.

    Spriggans and Lurchers..

Wolves Snakes and Senches seems like a no brainer

With the addition of Summerset, I'd say that an Indrik would be an amazing companion for the Warden. I personally think that a mini lurcher could replace the netch, the wolf could replace the shalk, and a gryphon could replace the cliff racer. The bugs are fine for me (since one of the morphs makes it look like you have butterflies on your arms after doing the first cast).

A frost atronach would be a nice replacement for the bear, and it would fit a frost warden theme.

I saw blue spriggans and Lurchers i was thinking those would fit frost wardens, but your idea is great too.. All Atronachs would be great.

Sench mount such as a lion, the wolf sounds great. also don't just look to real world animals, but also look to mythical animals, lore-based animals, and prehistoric animals

    Thanks for the suggestion, @darthbelanb14_ESO!

While we can't remark on the viability of the idea, or promise it will be used, we think alternate Warden companions sounds like a ton of fun. We can definitely see the appeal of having a lurcher, spriggan, or wolf as a companion, and as @AndrejLeo pointed out, this is an idea that could be applied to just about any class and it's abilities.

Please, feel free to share any other feedback or suggestions you may have, we're always always excited to read them!

Thank you so much for the response! Please, if you do this, give sorc pets a little love, too. I would absolutely run a pet sorcerer if, in place of a Clannfear, I could have a wolf. Does anyone else remember the Conjured Familiar spell from Skyrim? Something like that, but more corporeal. As someone else said: please not shiny and spectral. : ) Maybe a purple particle effect or brand or glowing eyes to signify it as a daedric summon.

I agree, the sorc pets looks too... unimpressive, to say the least!
I'm sure Pet (or skill) reskins would be really appreciated by all classes.

I hope sorcerer's pets could be altered one day. I wish to be able to summon mini air atronach for lightning pulsing. Some, for sure, want a skeleton pet.

Oh, gryphon for the warden is such a cool idea! Sure, wardens, for now, are too 'Ebonheart' and that gameplay simply is not comforting.

More pet skins would definitely drive some crown store revenue. I'm surprised they haven't capitalized on this yet

I would really like an alternative to the Sorcs Twilight pet, I find the wings flapping really annoying especially indoors, so much so I gave up healing on my Sorc.

@ZOS_Holden I cannot begin to describe how much I would love alt skins for class skills. Take Necromancy for example. A necromancy skin would fit PERFECTLY for the Warden class. Please make these suggestions known to the other devs. Copious rejoicing would be had.

Class Morphs or costumes that mask the abilities would be interesting like turning Sorc Lightning Green and changing the Scamp into a Skeleton, the Winged Twilight and Storm Attro Ulti into a Bonelord and Flesh Attro or something.

I would also like to see Warden with a Different practical Animal Companion like a Deer, Senche or Wolf and a Bird instead of that Cliff Racer. Also a Morph for the Shalk Skill that instead of pop up, sends like a deer or something Charging that Does Knock Back Damage.

Or a Momento That sends your Current Active Mount Charging to Knock back or just down people in front of you. Something that can be activated on or off Mount every few minutes so it doesn't get abused...
That could open up a whole new Relic-Like System to give Momentos a practical use or some small, specific battle advantage based on your choice. That would be neat AF.

For real that would be more than enough for me to be happy. In an ideal world, a fully fledged plastyle or clasd would be amazing, but I would definitely settle, very happily, with cosmetic skins.

    Lots of wolves.
    A whole pack of 'em.
Instead of the bear. I don't like bears. I like wolves.

If my shalk's were a ghostly pack of wolves...
If my bear had color options ...
If my netch was..an uncursed friendly lurcher..
if.. cliff racer had alternate skin say, wolf charging at monster..or senche pouncing at the target.

@ZOS_Holden it's not that this applies to EVERY class, it applies to sorcs and wardens specifically because 1. sorcs have been using the same skins since I beta tested the game and 2. warden skins feel like they didnt make an art pass.

It should be a massive priority to increase player engagement and fun.

Edit; this was posted recently in regards to art.

"On the development side, we have a strict policy to never change art assets once they have been in the live game, except – and this is important – if they are obviously “wrong”. Think bad animations, shoulder pads clipping through armor, weapons hanging too far off a character model’s hip – that kind of thing. This “no change” policy has been in effect since the Redguard Female Armor Debacle of 2015. This was where we updated the visuals of one type of Redguard Female armor and pushed it live without thinking of the consequences of players who liked the way it looked and had been using it for over a year. This caused a lot of – very much merited – criticism from players that liked the older style much better. That’s when we started our “no change” policy. Even if we think an asset needs to updated because it doesn’t fit ESO’s established art style or the artist responsible thinks they could have done better, we no longer change live assets because players are used to the way the game and their characters look, and that is more important than what WE think."

So essentially because of one mistake you change your policy and ruin any hope of positive change because you listened to a vocal minority instead of coming up with a solution that pleases everyone. BTW the obvious solution is that the game needs a core system that allows artist to incorporate a variety of assets that players have a way to pick from. The outfit system works great for items.

Business newbies. Get your *** together ZOS. I mean this in the nicest way possible. I like you guys.

I woud love an option to switch from a bear to another animal type. This would really help with role play, and individualize our Wardens. I approve of this, and would pay for such an option!

Agree. I've been playing with the idea of making a new Warden that is a Wyress of the Wyrd. Having different summons that fit with that would be amazing rather than the Morrowind themed stuff.

I've been thinking of making a Wyress under the Warden class as well! ^^) A wolf companion would work perfectly for the theme in place of the bear, particularly the Wolf Guardians like Wyress Freyda has with the blue streaks through their fur and eyes!
