It looks pretty discouraging now, but in six months they should have numbers which will tell them whether the mat requirements are sufficiently onerous that use of the skill line for actual crafting is significantly below expectations (as opposed to daunting to those just starting out). A skill that folks don't actually want to use doesn't sell boxes or subs. At least it should be easier to fix than the warden class.

go farm vet aa a bunch and decon that jewelry. deconning it is alot easier than farming up the *** to refine into it.

Yeah, let's go farm a vTrial on HM 160 times... At this rate it's helluva lot easier to just farm the Trials you need gold jewelry from and zerg-surf PvP for AP to buy gold jewelry from the Golden.

Right now it's an unnecessarily huge grindfest.

wrong as you can farm the easier one to get the harder to get bis gear much easier. and the extraction rate is pretty dang high

Gold grains have the same drop rate as all other gold upgrade mats (5%). Jewellery nodes have also replaced 50% of ore nodes.

Grains will likely stabilise at the same price as tempering alloys. That will mean around 500k per ring on PC/NA which is pretty reasonable.

It's also possible the price drops below tempering alloy if the demand is lower.

the fact it ate 50% of ore nodes really did suck when they said it wouldnt it was like wtf lieing again come on

Unless you are a complete sadist then It appears that there is no jewelry crafting only jewelry transmutation. Thank you ZOS for the jewelry transmutation. Time to pvp for enough transmute crystals to play my build.
