how is this any different then 4 people all casting thier ultimates on you at the exact same time.

im because 4 ultis take time to build and cant be recast the second they run out?

[for about 5 years that has been the case. nothing stays the same forever.
every patch we see new sets and new changes and we have to change our playstyles and our builds to suit those changes.
elite players should be exampt from that?
like i mentioned earlier, nothing wrong with allowing everyone a fair chance to have fun instead of just a few.
allow us all a chance to share the fun and PvP along side the others instead of just instant death.

You don't need to come with weak arguments like "nothing stays the same forever" that is just a blank statement because indeed things change. It is completely expected, hence nothing special.

Also: a lot of elite players need to change their build to compete just like the less skilled players, no difference. There is no such thing as "fair chance": a good boxer can KO 4 nerds alone for example. Hell, lets make it 4 children. But what if you give those children automatic rifles just like the boxer? Then it is just a game about numbers.

Your logic doesn't work in a game where most people want skill to be impactfull. You know what? You can always message those "elite" players, you will be amazed by some who actually want to help you improve.

For one thing because coordinating ults takes timing and coordination and for another sets like Sload are used in conjunction with ults.

The fundamental problem with proc damage sets is that they allow for far more burst than what would be possible with ordinary set bonuses and they don't trigger the GCD so players can combo at the same time. Every experienced PVP player should understand the significance of damage that can be layered.

Not only can this damage be layered, it is nearly completely thoughtless. But that's the point, I think.

The gameplay resulting from these sets is garbage. I've experimented with some and beyond the cheap thrill of stupidly easy kills, they were completely unfulfilling.

when those weapon ultimates came out people were all saying the same thing about how overpowered they were and yeah they still are overpowered, just like that fire staff ultimate.
if you cant move out of the way you die kinda fast.
this sload set and other sets like Zaan are no different, it just happens to be that sloads is fresh out of the box, but if you compare it to everything else just like you said, their all pretty much the same.
