Who is Sloads and why is he on all my death recaps?

I can't figure it out...

No matter who I fight, where I fight, when I fight... this Sload guy always damages me.

Even had a death recap where Sloads was the only guy on it - I apparentely evaded all the attacks of all the others, except this guy.

Oh, and I think he's a hacker because he plays on multiple alliances with the same name.

I really need to get off my butt, craft this and run some battlegrounds before it gets changed.

Sounds like an easy AP farm.

mostly if you get a group of at least one dk with this set, a stamblade or sorc with bleeds and this set and maybe a sorc or templar or smth like that otherwise, if you get two enemy groups with running similar setups get ready to get rekt
At least personally I rarely had the OP groups so far

Because Death Recap does not work like you think it does. That is probably the no.1 reason for all this Nerf-hype. It is no where near as OP as the crowds are making it out to be.

Does it matter if the last dmg you actually took was the sload's tick or is it more about having e.g. 21 unmitigable sload ticks on you at all? Honestly, I don't even have death recaps active. It's enough when I look at combat metrics and see how many people procced that *** on me at the same time.

Why does Sload have to be a guy?

There are female sloads...like Z'Maja(big boss) in the Cloudrest trial...

I think the most ridiculous thing about this set is the 6 second dot with a 6 second cool down. That alone is just laughable. Would basically be equivalent to matching selenes cool down with its animation, and at least that’s avoidable.

I get more deaths from procs than from players actually hitting me.

It's no longer a matter of "git gud" but getting ahold of the "proc of the month" set.

It can be any magicka build.

This was probably a magplar or a magDK, Zaans works best on builds that already spending a lot of time in melee range. Plus overwhelming is used on DK and temp a lot since those classes frequently stack 4 class abilities on each bar (overwhelming procs on class abilities.)

It can be any magicka build.

This was probably a magplar or a magDK, Zaans works best on builds that already spending a lot of time in melee range. Plus overwhelming is used on DK and temp a lot since those classes frequently stack 4 class abilities on each bar (overwhelming procs on class abilities.)

judging by that overwhelming dmg, my money is on magplar who got fed up with trying to land puncturing sweeps in a highly mobile combat area.

and not even you dont need skill to kill someone...even in this time sload's have done more damage than zaan with longer cd...

Sets like these are implemented to give the casual pvp player some chance to kill some stuff, no skill required.

My theory is that back in the day gosu players rekt so many crappy bad big groups while heavily outnumbered or simply solo and this caused a lot of players to quit due to frustration or QQ awesomely hard.

Zos saw lot of players leaving due to this and made general pvp more casual friendly. Less/no skill req to kill, more power to the numbers, removal dynamic ulti, ...

I miss the days or 1 kena 1 bloodspawn 5 hundings 3 agilty and maelstrom 2h or dual lekis and bow. Your kills were based on skill not gear sets. Thieves guild was the last hurrah. Dark Brother hood and beyond has systematically dumbed down the game and drove away the masses. Their attempts at reaching a broader PvP audience by appealing to casuals has had an adverse effect. Proc sets in the the hands of skilled players has done more harm than any good putting the same sets in an average players hands ever could.

We all do. Just run sloads and other proc sets, build up health and defense, and let them work. Soon we will have gone from trying to outdamage and kill an opponent, to outhealing each others proc sets. Going to be a ton of fun.

yeah even juust normal non cancer/cheesy builds are no more viable because its just disadvantage to go without proc sets..
