So Why Did You Make Your Characters Vampires

Just out of curiosity and intrigue, I would like to know your reasoning for becoming a vampire in game

I don't have any vampire characters

I haven't made any vampires. I take enough damage from dawnbreaker as it is. I can't imagine what it would be like as a vamp.

I didn't want to be a vampire but I needed elusive mist and the passives to survive in pvp on my magplar healer.

I feel almost forced to be a vampire so I can access the passive that removes sneak speed penalty. I don't want to be a vampire, but I also don't want to waste an entire 5 piece set because my Nightblade (class designed for sneak) gets penalized for sneaking.

So. Eventually I want to make a vampire build... But for now I made my character a vampire for the dyes. Then I cured him. Same with werewolf.

Vampire is BiS for stam and mag classes in pvp.

10% Stam and mag is great for min maxxing

In Skyrim I wanted to be a vampire, even though you are severely punished for it. (No stam regen, reduced stats etc.)

In eso I don't want to be a vampire, even though they have awesome bonuses. They just look too bad.

I am one of the original NPC strains in the beginning of the game. I am responsible of infecting lots of people (for free).
I just wanted a vampire nightblade since the beta. Not because of the skills or passives, but for RP which I did in the beginning of the game.

I admit I cured myself a few times but always turned back. Vampire for 3 unbroken years now.

Personal RP. 2 Tanks an Argonian Nightblade and a "Death Knight" Ice Warden. 2 Stamina and 3 Magicka characters are Vampires. 2 Stamina and 2 Tanks are Werewolves. My Templars and a Nature loving Magicka Warden are pure, they do not partake in daedric powers. If there were a Vigilant of Stendarr skill tree (barring Fighter's Guild) my Templars would do that.

Sneak speed is a passive so I clicked that one. It makes me mad though. Sneak speed is earned theough sneaking in Elder Scrolls games. There is no requirement to disform your face. To top it off, Khajiit fur changes for no reason. Stupid beyond stuid. I dont know why the lore guys aren't all over this.

This. Almost everyone in this game is a vampire. It's absurd how crazy strong the passives are. Whether the sneak speed for thieving or the resource regen for endgame PvE, being a vampire is pretty much mandatory. Not sure why they attached such OP passives to an RP choice. There should be other ways to gain improved sneak speed and resource regen.

Vamps are a burden, but the passives are too good to miss out in PvE. If I had the choice, I'd never become a vamp. The lore is dull, they make me weak and an addiction is never a good thing.


Really, I am sad to be forced to transform my beautiful characters into those abominations. I refused to do so until I cleared vMoL for the first time in order to hide the ugliness and weak being under a skin.

If there was a skin that makes it looks more like skyrim's strain of vampirism, I would consider making more of my characters vampires. Currently I don't want to make my redguard a vampire as his beautiful dark skin becomes a skooma addicts color
