I hope vma weapons and other bis gear never make it to the crown store
Put MerlinPendragon in charge and they'll magically appear in there. It's what he wants. He can't earn them himself, so needs to buy his way through.
As far as ZoS goes - they make plenty of their income via in-game aesthetics. That's their bread and butter and THAT is what has made this game so healthy and set apart from the other games - NOT introducing P2W items. I don't want to see exclusive items that make gods of players in the crown store - and neither should you. So I'm hoping they take heed and stop this step towards that.
FDev, as I've stated, has a mature demographic of players. Ones that would NOT tolerate P2W in any format. Wannabe gamers (and I call them that, because clearly they need to buy the victories) tend to ditch Elite Dangerous as fast as they pick it up when they realize everything isn't delivered on a silver platter to them... it's highly refreshing.
We pay for this game... we pay a subscription of DLCs and extra for expansions... that should be enough to deter ZoS from further gouging. If it isn't... then like others have stated here, the P2W players will be all that remain.
As I've repeated several times too, it's not just the horrible direction this takes, it's also the fact we were clearly lied to about jewelry crafting being something we needed to work towards, rather than instant gratification. I feel that we were mislead, and they've already taken our money for Summerset pre-orders before going back on that word. It's lowered my trust in Zenimax completely.
But you do have to work towards jewelry crafting.
Learning the traits faster doesn't mean anything really, unless you'd like to have an equal complaint about blacksmithing, clothing, and woodworking research scrolls too?
You have a much longer grind getting all of the required materials to make one piece of jewelry than any other craft. It definitely does take more "work towards".
this thing is total disrespect to all players who spent much time (and anything now doesn't require more time to spend than freaking grindy jewellery crafting system) to something what can be bougth by someone or rich and/or dumb with a $.
No cooldown...why? next step wil be to make potions, food and poisons also stronger than crafted ones? then "unique" gear for real money, than "big red button" for 1 mln $?
I'm slowly raging on such Zeni actions to come close to leave eso and to have any deal in a future with anything Zenimax produced

It disrespects no one.
First, no one has spent 15 days researching yet, so I have no idea who you could be referring to. Anyone who grinds out all the research will do it in the future.
Second, I feel no less a sense of accomplishment doing something when someone else can buy it. Good for them if they want to spend that money. Thank you for supporting the game.
Third, there is no "next step." There are research scrolls. Research scrolls are nothing new. I have no idea why you are talking about selling unique gear for crowns when there is nothing of that sort. They just sell timer reduction for a hefty price.

Again.... I'm waiting for a screenshot (rather than hearsay) but according to a recent post on a renowned online source (Discord) there already are several 9-trait jewelry crafters on both XBox and PC.
You're correct the research scrolls are not a new thing, but they also were NOT available for a long time until AFTER we had people who had spent the time grinding their crafting. They were seen as a way for new players to catch up with the older ones... this is very different. This isn't a catch up, it's a "get ahead" if you want to buy it. It starts the culture of P2W - whether you like to admit it or not...
Trust me, the moment I feel more of this creeping in, I'm out. My household has 3 ESO+ subscriptions currently, and also multiple copies purchased of Summerset and Morrowind. I feel I've invested enough money in Zenimax (since I'm a day 1 player too) that I get a right to speak out.
Like I say... more of it, and it all gets cancelled.
