    From the PTS

    #1 Oh wow its beautiful!

#2 There are a lot less locked doors in at least Shimerene (the starting city) than there was in Vvaadenfel. There are a bunch in Alinor still though but less in your face as it was in Vvaadenfel.

#3 Vertically is much stronger here than in Vvaadenfel. The cities spiral upwards there are much more intense hills and mountains.

#4 Yay Jewellery crafting! yay transmuting traits! (although its going to be a horrible grind but you don't feel that on the PTS)

#5 I liked the quests that I did, I mostly avoided them because I didn't want to spoil myself too much but of the ones I did they are really emotionally impactful and some have some extremely difficult choices... at least for me...

    The landscape is breathtaking.

Quests are fun if you actually read them.

Glad to see Razum Dar again xD

As per cloudrest, I will have to wait for Sunday when we raid with the guild, but it looks cool. I want the magicka set!

I will probably take questing and exploration easy, as I do with every patch. As per endgame, I will prob rush it as always lol

So far I only have good things to say =)

    1) sudden frame drop.. from 100fps to 2 fps every so often.
    2) see that building on top of the clif? the way is block by boulder no way going up there
3)jewelry craft?? such thing doesn't exist.. the grind kill it. and it is dead before it was born
4)resource node? they are so damn rare.. except a tiny area around city. you will barely find anything in the wild.
5)jewelry node? i harvest around 40 ore, 42 ancester silk, 52 oak.. while i only find 2 jewelry resource node..
    6) many bug, several location kill you for just being there... just like player house
7)crafting set all seem to be designed for pvp, and none of them seem to be worth using..
8)psijic order? ask you to run all around map, wasting you time.. then they give you another map having you run around entire world.......................persoanlly i don't find it fun...
9)time rift.. they are just like thieves trove.. before they were nerfed... which might get nerf soon after release...

overall? regret getting it...................some people may find it beautfiul, but this kind of art style is very common amongst western theme mmo. the quest are moderate, nothing special.

Pre-ordered, but majorly annoyed with how ZOS decided to implement jewelry crafting and other things, so I'm sparing myself the further aggravation of dealing with bugs and the hypercompetitive jerks. Turned off zone and guild chats so not to see an unending flood of PC requests for new items. Noticed a few new NPCs in the regular zones and unlocked the jewelry crafting skill line by visiting the nearest jewelry station. looked over the new achievements. Previewed the new house and thought i'll probably buy it eventually. Largely uninterested in doing more right now, so I'll finish up writs and go play another game. Since I've largely removed myself from any group content for the time being, I'm not in a rush to fuss over new meta and new gear. I hear Summerset is pretty, but yeah, another time, maybe in a couple weeks or months from now, I'll check it out.
    CP900+, PC-NA.

When I was harassed by a sexist, racist troll in-game, ZOS did nothing to the player and only told me to add that person to my ignore list. When I called ZOS a mean name that called their ethics into question on the forum, they muted me and threatened to ban me.

I played around 3 hs taking the time to read and contemplate the scenery. The map seems awfully small, Arteum and Summerset are beautiful but as I feared, they are too generic (fantasy theme) so I can't say I love it. Heck I even like some vanilla zones more like Stonefalls or Alik'r.

The quest so far... also unimpressive, after the superb storyline of Clockwork City maybe they spoiled us, but Razum Dar is not enough to get me so interested. "The purity/racist" issue is getting old.

Maybe it gets better later with the Daedra? It's not only the "nostalgia" elements of Morrowind that I miss (I admit I'm a huge fan), but some of the quest were really really good and even funny in the last chapter, for example the ones at Gnisis. Not seeing that kind of quality right now.

Add that to the fact that we didn't get much more content (i.e. new class) I'm starting to feel a little cheated with this "expansion". Just my first impressions... maybe it will change tomorrow :)

Beautiful. Psijic order is a grind fest and instead of being innovative, reallt emphasizes what I’ve always hated about ESO quests in that essentially they’re all the same featuring a go here and do the same thing multiple times.

But I do love the zone, I’ve already made use of the jewlery transmutation. If you have two toons one for necklaces and one for rings learning the traits isn’t so bad. But tbh it’s kinda stupid that you can’t research necklace and rings on the same toon at the same time.

However, I’m noticing a ton of fps drops and a lot of stuttering. I’m on OS X so maybe it’s a max client thing.

Bigger waste of money than morrowind. In fact zos could go a long way by refunding half of this trash in at least crown crates.

On one hand Summerset is a delight on the eyes, and the quests seem on par with the rest of the game. The townhouse is very nice and I was happy to see it's available for gold. I like the gryphon and other pre-order items, and jewellery crafting is a nice addition.

However, there's nothing earth-shatteringly great. In many ways it's simply more of the same in prettier clothing.

That said, it is only a game and as far as mmo's go it is one of the better ones out there. If there was a little less emphasis on the cash store element it would be more attractive.

I've only been playing for 3 hours, sofar it's good, I'm happy with it.

    - The outdoor scenery is mostly green with splashes of red, pink, purple. Looks bright and refreshing.
    - Once in a while the game freezes for 1 sec and then continues.
    - Altmers have such long faces. (Personally I like Dunmer face)
    - Nodes are sparse.
    - The buildings look nice in Shimerene, European (Italian Renaissance?)
    - Quests I've done sofar are very good, well acted and interesting.
    - The music is average. I've haven't heard anything that sticks in my mind.

That's it for now, back to playing.

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

I only went to summerset to get jewelcrafting and start the psijic line to see rifts. I unfortunately had to stay there longer than I had hoped because the psijic line required more time to get than I figured, it's not just a grab and run like pretty much every other guild. I didn't like that you had to start the main quest to get it, because I planned to do the main quests together in a few weeks, but it wasn't too bad.

    Only thing I'm really noticing buggy besides a bit of lag was sometimes the crafting stations tell me I have less research than I do, but then say I have no available research slots. o_O;;

Anyway. Nice landscape, nice open spaces for farming material(although JC nodes are hard to find in summerset, I assume due to everyone farming them), the quests seem interesting enough, but again, didn't do much of them yet.

I love the Augur from the psijic quests, he's hilarious. I'm sure he'll help out with the semi-frustrating maps that send you all over the place, which kind of just seems like a nit-picky way of showing you where all of the side-quests are...

I dunno, overall I approve, a few things I'm not super fond of, but better than I expected.

    Impressions? OK.

Zone looks nice. It is not as big as many ppl expected.
Delves are interesting, all delves in Tamriel should be as good as what we have in summerset/vvardenfell.
    Monsters are entry level difficulty.
World bosses are interesting, only issue I have atm is lag spikes when that salamander boss start to spew/emit fire in all directions.
Architecture is not amazing as a lot of ppl expected. I like ruins better that cities themselves. That acropolis like open theater is very nice.
Public dungeons are a bit less difficult compared to vvardenfell ones.
Jewelrycrafting will be ok once they make it bit less grindy.
We need character slot to do introduction quest on 15/15 accounts.

The style of the buildings is close to neo-gothic arhictecture (castles and manors built in western Europe around the 19th century). Italian Renaissance is several centuries earlier.

I love the city layout esp. of Shimmerene, though.
Narrow streets, staired alleyways, little nooks everywhere with the odd shrine or NPC in them, laundry hanging across the street, small squares suddenly opening up - actual cities. Not the wide open spaces with a few isolated buildings scattered in between, like in the original zones (esp. other Altmeri cities like Skywatch or Vulkhel's Guard - you can drive three trucks through them side by side...)

Quests - A - Augur of the Obscure, the Murder mystery and main quest, all good stuff. Lots of good writing, humour etc (Golden Knight)

Architecture - B - The cities/towns are large, use vertical space well and the buildings all feel sufficiently different and grand. Still suffers from a dead feeling with lack of npc's etc but that's something game wide. Not so much variation in the flora, I like the idea of vineyards and other touches and the landscape wasn't flat and boring with too many annoying impassable bits but could have been more varied. One of the best bits was in a dungeon where you look down on a huge canopy of trees, great stuff.

Dungeons - B+ - The delves are really good imo, great settings. Only did the raid once on normal and wasn't too blown away. The mechanic with the portal and jumping up to escape the aoe is fun though.

    All I have so far.
