    I agree that it every update it seems as though new content is prioritized over improving performance. No doubt that decision is out of the development teams hands, but still it feels like a pretty transparent deception where we're constantly placated and nothing is ever delivered.

    Dont know what platform OP is but PC NA vivec many in zone were complaining of very bad performance. I know my latency which is never good was worse 450-500. The combat at 400+ ping is appalling and I disconnected multiple tiems when arriving at a large fight, taking multiple tries to relog into the game. A superior product to be sure.

    WoW dosent have in pvp nor in pve, GW2 dosent have in pvp nor in pve, SWTOR dosent have in pvp nor in pve.

    So far only suffers from this issues.

    And the OP is actualy realy right. at this point the game is so laggy, teh frams so low and the latency often goes up to more then 900 in pc EU so it is realy unplayable.

    I dont understand why is that so hard to invest more sources to the game to upgrade the engine, and teh server, and fix also teh frames, and the latency issues, it is not rocket sience clearly.

    Sometimes even the pve aspect of the game suffers from teh same issues in ESO including trials, dungeons, and even trawweling all around teh world, not to mention even On PTS the summer sett expansion also suffers from a huge frame dropps and latency issues.

    Im so disgusted by their policy of how to handle this issue that the second another MMORPG with a huge, persistent and lag-free pvp world comes out i would burn down my copy of ESO and be done with it forever. My biggest fear by far is that if an incentive to fix the lag is finally here (in form of another pvp mmorpg) that zenimax suddenly is able to fix this *** within two weeks. Im pretty sure by now that they are just playing us all. People still flood the pvp servers day in day out, regardless of lag, so why should they change anything.

    At release they had all the reasons in the world to put the money into it and fix it. They had a huge potential to realize the greatest mmo of all time (pvp wise). Somebody decided to take baby steps into fixing the performances instead of going all in. They lost their chance. Nowadays, the marketing dept. most likely sees this as a waste of time and money to re-write the code and start from the beginning to fix server-lag issues. Even if we all know, hardcore pvpers who have been playing the game since release, that fixing performances could revitalize the game still and bring it back to what it was at release, population wise.

    • Fix Volendrung (spawn location - weapon white on the map causing the wielder to keep it forever - usable with emperorship)
    • Remove / Change CPs System, remove current CP/noCP campaigns and introduce one 30days with lock, one with no locks
    • Fix crashes when approaching a keep under attack because of bad / wrong rendering prioritization system
    • Change emperorship to value faction score points and not alliance points - see this and this
    • Fix long loading screens (mostly caused by players joining group out of rendering range)
    • Add 2 more quickslots to the wheel or add a different wheel for sieges weaponry only
    • Fix Balista Bolts not dealing damage on walls or doors if deployed at a certain place
    • Release bigger battlegrounds with 8 to 16 players per team and only two teams
    • Fix the permanent block animation - see examples : link1 link2 link3 link4 link5
    • Gives players 10 minutes to get back into Cyrodiil after relogging / crashing
    • Add a function to ignore the Claiming system of useless rewards
    • Improve the Mailing System / Rewards of the Worthy stacking
    • Assign specific group sizes to specific campaigns (24-16-8)
    • Make forward camps impossible to place near objectives
    • Make snares only available from ground effects abilities
    • Change emperorship to last minimum 24hours
    • Fix body sliding after cc breaking too quickly
    • Remove Block Casting through Battle Spirit
    • Fix the speed drop while jumping - see video

    Most likely the only issue regarding lag is the budget. It costs money to run a lag free cyrodiil.

    They're not willing to spend money on something a fraction of the playerbase is interested in.

    A friend has a theory that if they just let the servers melt from lack of maintenance , then when Summerset launches anything will be a performance improvement .

    360 people per campaign is not flooding that’s barely a trickle in the grand scheme of things.

    I dont want to be realy rude with ZOS but i suggest to everyone, including pve palyers as well to boycot them, with stop giving them to our money, and also lett the game die out, withd ropping their pvp activites, and pve activities as well. That willd efinetly force them to fix the game.

    Amore then 5-10 minutes loading screnn inc yrodiil with ssd and witha rig that bascily a moth fart this game to my computer, the insane lags, and frame drops, its like we are palying on a private server.

    Disgusting, and honestly we were the ones who give them our money, so basicly it is our fault as well, to feed them.

    If we could stop teh cash flow tehy will definetly work out a solution for teh game, wich actualy works.

    Most of us have learned to live with the lagg. The issue is the other options, if Vivec is laggy as *** and you don't enjoy NO-CP then you are very limited in options. BG's (were CP before and is NO-CP atm) is not something I feel I will do in my free day, Cyrodill is big and open and that's were I want to play. So what options do we have? We have Shor.. but it feels to empty to enjoy PvP constantly.

    There is a option to flood Shor more, which has been suggested in the past. Those that queue for a locked campaign automatically port to Shor while the queue goes on.

    I'm on PC-NA. I pretty much never experience lag. Is this lag only happening on certain platforms/regions?

    It is unbelievable that on the eve of launching new expansion we have to cope with an absurd LAG, outside the 'peak' times of NA servers. It's incredibly surreal as the game sucks in terms of service delivery.

    It could be the server can’t keep up with all of your zone chat rants? Spamming negativity stresses the server 48% more than spreading positivity. Also add 12% more work for using google translate. It all adds up to (take a chill pill).

    It happens prime time. I can play during the day and it's great. Around 7pm it starts to get bad.

    Which, as a handsome Altmer, is important.

    The most recent ESO Live offers some hope - I'm quite certain that now that the Most Anticipated Beta Award Winner for 2015, 2016, and 2017 is actually entering an extended Beta here in 2018, they'll feel more pressure on that end.

    Lag can also be caused by staring at Alessia and Faregyl's front door too intensely. Perhaps try staring at a side door?

    I found a pretty reliable way to keep my lag between 80-90ms. It's actually quite simple. I moved to Addison, which is 5 miles, max, from the servers. So all everyone has to do is move to the north-northeast side of Dallas County, and everything is great.

    I'm actually somewhat surprised that support doesn't suggest that to everyone.
