    Magplar is not in a good place for end game dps. You can still do most other content and have fun, but you’re right that progression guilds don’t really want a magplar dps, and only one stamplar (if that). Try again next year, maybe Templar will finally be competitive. Or even just decent.

    Luckily never made one and tbh even my stamplar feels tedious to level.. Zos really has no clue how to balance their classes.

    I main stamplar in my core and am maining the ranged magplar in vas+2 progression. There are spots for them but they are limited.

    Sure, but magolar was also top DPS in the game at one point. Warden has known nothing but the bottom of the barrel.

    Yeah, my first main is a melee magplar, fully outfitted with Grothdarr, BSW and Julianos yellow pieces and cannot even run vCoA smoothly. So now I just keep her as my 'crafter' and been thinking about churning her to a healer.

    Too late. My main is a Stamplar, and my main alt is a magplar. Both characters with over 60% of the games content completed lots of crafting researched, horse training at 50+. Not scrapping them. No siree.

    In fact, I am fishing on my stamplar right now. I do however have a Stamblade in the wings and will probably get back on her at some point. I have also just started an Imperial Mag Sorc (screw meta....), and when Summerset drops will create my very first AD characters in the form of a High Elf Mag DK, and a Mag Warden (race not decided).

Hey, you are even receiving a buff next patch since you will be able to even equip any of those with a full monster set. Do you know there's even a new set Zos has made just for you?     PvP and PvE are two different game modes ukno

    I have seen Magplars break 50k ST in raids recently. They are pulling mid 40s on 6 million health dummies on PTS solo. True, they struggle to out DPS stamina in the current meta, but they can pull plenty of damage. There is really no reason a progression group should say no to a magplar for damage, unless they legit have 4 guys pulling 55-60K single target on stamina or are working speed strats on VAS+2, but that is not most "progression" groups. Give it a few weeks, I think magplars are going to be alright next patch.

    hate to be the bearer of reall bad news. My friend, on console, is hitting 60k group parses with his og magplar. I mean moon dancerer sword setup. He has been working on it for months now. I dont know what to tell you but to work hard at it and get numbers people cant ignore.

    Do any of you nay say'ers even know why magplars hit less dps in group parses? Ive wanted a magden sinve they dropped but ZOS=bad management. Magsorcs nerfed till they pretty much suck dps without pet. Magdk ( next patch maybe ) Its almost impossible on console to hit 35k+ without a rotation that would ( in my experience ) be almost impossible to keep up during some of the harder content.

    What is this build you speak of? It sounds like you are talking about a Magicka build that uses swords? Is that right?
