Ok, I need a straight answer, devs, PLEASE for my sanity as a crafter

So making a template, we get the "learn all the available furnish plans" consumables. On using them, I find my toon can make stuff like the Praxis: Orcish Effigy, Mammoth and the Minecart, Push - stuff that as far as anyone's aware, the plans don't exist in the actual game. But I can make them on the PTS, and those plans are called "available".

SO. Can we please get some insight as to whether these plans are in the actual game somewhere or not? I don't even want to know where to find them (that's a lie; I do); I just want to know if they're findable in the actual live game.

NOTE: If you for sure have any of the plans below (and not the ones from the voucher merchant - some of them have similar names but they're not the same) please post in the thread. I've double checked the missing lists from Craftstore and Furniture Catalogue with what I can craft in the PTS; if I can't craft it there I assumed the plan doesn't exist and was therefore taken off the list.

These, however, a) are shown as missing in Craftstore/Furniture Catalogue, and b) ARE craftable on the PTS, meaning the plan exists SOMEWHERE unless we get information to the contrary from Gina:

Sorry I don't have an answer but wanted to say that this is a very valid question.
We NEED to know whether assets are truly available in the game in order to know if it's worth looking for them. No only the ones you mentioned.

ZOS believes in keeping this stuff secret, perhaps because of all the "excitement" it brings.

Just like the skooma bubbler recipe, the hourglass recipe and others.

There are still recipes that extremely rarely if ever surface on the PC-EU server.

If not for addons tracking recipes (with their sometimes errors and faults), collecting recipes would be a real PITA.

I don't get why they don't simply release a master list of all the currently obtainable recipes in the game, they don't even have to mention the specifics, just whether the recipe is available or not.

It's not as if patch notes read something like "we added 4 new motifs in the game, but we won't say which ones or where to get them!", so why the great secrecy regarding furniture recipes.

I swear for something as simple as cosmetic furniture with no actual gameplay value, ZOS sure knows how to make everything associated with them a real PITA and a negative experience.

I'll add my voice to the chorus asking for a straight answer. There's no good reason to keep live content a secret, I'm sure it's just an oversight on their part. Right, ZOS? An easily fixable oversight? *Ahem.*

Is it a coincidence that most of the missing recipes have Nickel (Imperial) as style material?
Completely agree with @Carbonised , a master list of what is/isn't available (with small hints) would make life easier (especially to collectors like me )
And a not-so-little tweaking to rarity would be welcome too.....farming vvardenfell chests for buoyant pages is a walk-in-the-park (and it took 15 stacks of lockpicks to complete) compared to grinding dremora (for the elusive Daedric Fence, Section), or dwemer constructs (only one purple remaining) or ayleid delves/public dungeon..or even Fang Lair (afaik only two confirmed drop of Table, Blackmarrow Slab in that dungeon)
i'll keep sending reports, anyway...i hope something will change

Were any of those on PC NA? I thought I had heard of one dropping on the EU servers, but I haven't heard of one dropping on the NA servers. And I haven't seen any of the tables for sale in the kiosks.

It seems that both drops were on EU server....only the furnishing is on sale, sometimes.....one of the drop happened to a friend of mine, she found it from a boss, but didn't remember which one (was a vet fang lair with HM)
i can PM her ID if you want to buy a table or want to ask her about the recipe (EU server)
it's not clear if that recipe drops only in vet or in normal too even the mushroom furnishing that should drop in there are incredibly rare....
btw, anyone knows anything about a "Morrowind Banner Of The 6th House"? was sold once, according to TTC data...

I'm on PC NA, so a trade wouldn't work. And I would probably assume the 6th House furnishing drops from the same public dungeon as the pieces to make the 6th House costume runebox, but I don't know for sure.

I'm pretty sure you're confusing those with the very similar but slightly different ones that are already in the game, such as "pot pie" and "pie display, empty".

The daedric fence is a standard daedra drop, like all the others. The bigger issue with the fence is that when most people find it, they read it, assuming it is worthless like the other daedra plans. They should have named all the plans added with HOTR with "Coldharbor" instead of "daedric". I know several people that have it learned on alts and they didn't even know they had it it learned. The blackmarrow table is farmable, just complete the dungeon up to the first boss (not the arena), then leave and reset. This gives you the most kills per time spent, just kill the adds. The banner can drop one of two ways, its either a normal furnishing drop that you get from pickpocketing or looting, like the velothi stuff, or it could come with the gold purchased houses in Morrowind. If one comes with the houses you can buy with gold, then you can sell that item, making it even rarer than the dark elf bed of coals, which is only obtainable the same way. I have not confirmed this yet, but i will look into it. It does not exist as a furnishing plan in the game.

Also, if you are going off the items in the "master furnishing book" that you get on the PTS.... DON'T!. It has not been updated since the original housing update, and it is missing craftable normal race items that are available in the game. I do not understand why they have not yet updated it. Although at least with this PTS cycle they gave us vouchers to start with, previously you had to craft out master writs, when the template character didn't even have their crafting skills maxed, and they were missing the research. Major oversight.

That’s actually the intention.

If the item is *almost unobtainable* in-game, and also requires a high material gold cost to even craft, you might just buy it for real money to totally skip the tedious grind.

The entire design of ESO’s player housing system is geared toward Crown Store purchase.
