As I didn't want to spoiler the whole expansion to myself before my first playthrough, I only took a ride through the landscape. While some places are well-designed, others are not. And in general, I don't like the shiny floors, walls AND furniture. I'm fine with the floors, but the rest makes it look playmobil-esque.
But let's focus on the less general things that could be fixed:
-starting town: there is a beautiful stone-bridge that connects absolutely nothing in front of the stable (outside area). No water underneath and a flat area only 5 meters away. Why would anyone build such an exquisite construction there? If you want to connect the street, replace it with a wooden one. It would definitely fit better.
- starting town: the stable itself. Polished wooden floor without a grain of dirt, but horses inside and nothing but dirt around. It looks completely surreal and misplaced.
- Alinor and some other cities: Plants growing out of stones and clean walls. Sorry but that looks cheap and disrupts any immersion. Give them some "source" to grow from. Dirt or planters or something.
- Alinor: the river. Either it is paved or it is natural and green. Dirt concealing a paved river would be washed out. Or it is paved and stony, then make it look like stones and maybe place some plants between them.
As it looks, it looks unfinished. It seems you've somehow finished the city and thought it should look softer and greener and you didn't have enough time left until release on pts.
- Alinor manor: ground floor doesn't have any window from inside (from the exterior, it does!). I mean, come on, even a cellar has tiny little windows.
Well, that's it for negative criticism. I love the overall design and the new furniture (specially the new heavy curtains, was about time), it fits the high-elf-theme. Because of that, I would be glad to see some improvements on immersion, otherwise I wouldn't care
