Is 20% the normal discount ? I thought it was 50%, which should be the normal price when you think about how expensive stuff are on the store.
The price of stuff on the crown store is way too high, few days ago wanted to purchase some crowns to buy one of the horses priced at 3500 crowns, just for that I had to spend 35 euros for the 5500 crown pack... it's around 22 euros for a horse, since I would be left with 2k crowns, on a 50% crown sale the horse would've cost 11 euros, way more affordable.
I'm waiting on a sale on PC, but 20% off won't really change much... for now just got my 9k crowns from eso plus, but already spent those xD

so basically they raised the price on the crown store and lowered the discount on the sale so in essence they really are in the same place they use to be and by doing so they are giving the middle finger to all their loyal customers.

I've learned they announce stuff like this on twitter.Really disappointing indeed, and no announcements about it either lol

Buying during this "sale" is doing yourself a disservice.
If the data shows that they make the same or near the same after discounting with the 20% then they are likely to not offer the higher discount again.

Normally the 5500 is $1 for about 137 crowns, and the original sales would put it at $1 = 212. Last big sale made crowns somewhere in the 250-300 per dollar range.
Currently,
1500, $1=125
3000, $1=150
5500, $1=172
14000/21000, $1=175
If you don't need crowns, I would pass on this sale. If you need a few, a single 5500 pack seems optimal in value per crown vs actual money spent.
