Quest auto activating

Can we PLEASE get a toggle for the function of new quests automatically becoming the active quest - they tried to glorify this as a good thing when its actually one of the stupidist things they've ever implemented, so annoying because the current quest I'm on gets deactivated and the new one becomes the active quest, and changes the quest marker on the compass and I have to switch it back to the other one.
