So I often find that teams actively fight on the map because they run into each other. That's fine. But when people are actively fighting and some idiot runs around and caps everything, I'm not ok with that.
So maybe there should be points awarded to when there is conflict on top of a flag. Perhaps not as much but this will help lessen the gap.

People are missing the point, you can be an idiot (here bad player) running around and stop at flags and win this mode, while the other two teams are fighting to conquer a flag. Domination and Crazy King (it's a bit better there, tho) is all about running away from others and that has nothing to do with pvp and that's a big part of battlegrounds or at least should be. Noone says add Deathmatch to Domination but just running from flag to flag avoiding fights can't be right.

Though I can see the argument for why that player is playing as intended. Would you, as a catcher in baseball, let a base runner steal from first to second?
Same concept, after the 2nd flag cap, I would have directly challenged that player to have some meaningful 1v1. His cap efficiency would have dropped and the game mode .
Granted I think it's worse when 3 teams b travel together and cap the flags without pvping. But I agree, I'll be queing up for chaosball/crazy king over domination.
