Power Extraction rework.... where it is?

Awhile ago eso live said Power Extraction (the other morph of sap essence) was getting a rework. So where is it?

Rumor has it that it could apply minor defile to your enemies or turn into a % based health scaling ability.

Been waiting months for this ability to become viable over steel tornado and nothing is happening.

    It would be great if it complemented Steel Tornado somehow so that an AoE-focused stamblade could use both. And while they're at it, they should make the DW ultimate a radial effect just like these.

    Would be nice if Duel Wield ultimate could not be purged though. Its basically useless in pvp for group play.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno , @ZOS_JessicaFolsom , @ZOS_Wrobel , @ZOS_RichLambert It would be great if we got some feedback/follow up on this. Right now, power extraction is rarely used in comparison to steel tornado, in spite of it being an amazing skill to use while leveling

    A very simple way to solve PE is to consider it as a melee attack. Then you can use sets like Berseking Warrior, Crest of Cyrodiil, Ravager or Knightmare, as well as the axe bleed, which open a world of possibilities for the skill.

    PE can procc axe bleed, viper and redguard passive.
    I didn't test ravager.

    I'm pretty sure it can also procc selene, but i will test it first.

    It was proccing Ravager the last time I was using both together. When jewelry crafting comes out ravaging will be the best set for AOE DPS

    Yes. We need more trains that just use two skills and still shred everything. Also, AoE is the domain of ranged magicka characters. If you buff stam AoE too much there will be no reason to run magicka characters in raid pve any longer.

    And single target dps is the domain of Stam characters... except it isn't, because magicka builds do it better and from range.

    Imo power extraction should get a significant damage boost and be changed into a damage over time effect rather than up front damage. Have it deal 2-3k dps over a 12-20 second duration, that way it can be combined with steel tornado and endless hail.

    Also power extraction should apply minor maim to honor it's name, and make it a proper siphon skill
