I'm a lore nerd, and in the metaphysical lore I'm on the side of humanity and a Shezarrine is a hero if humanity and usually kills hoards of elves. It is also an obscure enough term that it's usually not taken in other games (had to misspell it with 2 z's in ESO).

It's a name I have used for some years now.

I used to use Turel (from Legacy of Kain) but found it was always in use so wanted something a little different. I was watching Angel at that time and one of the episodes where he goes bad comes up and I noticed his name was just Angel with a "us" added when he was evil Angel.

Did it with Turel to make Turelus and used it ever since. It gets taken from time to time (not sure whether coincidence, spite or copy-cat) so then I fall back on ADTurelus (twitter) as ADT are my initials.

Cave Canem, latin for "beware the dog", which the romans had on mosaic tiles with pictures of dogs outside their houses 2000 years ago. Its one of those things that people think is a modern idea but instead tells us that not too much has changed about people since we walked about with swords.

I chose it because my first character was an imperial dragonknight, werewolf that walked around with a sword. 2000 years later you should still Cave Canem!

From the online handle I picked way back when, the very first time I made a account for a discussion forum for Babylon 5 stuff.
I wanted something to show how much I like the Shadows, but not something too pretentious... so I took "ShadowScout" as handle back then, from the smallest of their starships, the little scoutship we see back in S-3... and have been using it one way or another ever since...

I have had this as a nick for as long as I can remember. The name itself comes from a band called the "Bonzodog doo-dah band" who were famous in the UK in the late 60's/early 70's, and when I started using CB radio in 1989 (showing my age here.....), it was my "handle". I transferred it over to the 'net when I started using it in '96, and have basically kept it ever since. I did recently however decide to come up with an entirely new internet nick, and have changed my GT to that.
