I hate the way Stonefist makes my character look like The Thing. I try to take a lot of care in the appearance of my characters and there should be some way to keep them from looking like a big brown rock person.

Spiked armor has to be the worst for me so far - blade cloak could stand to look more imposing and the summons for sorcerer are very underwhelming

Puncturing Sweep (Templar Aedric Spear line). With passives and CPs it's just too good to give up as the main bar spammable (in PvE, anyway), but the repetitiveness of the striking sound gets tiring.

I play zoomed out so much in combat that I can't really see details. I hate losing the visual info but I hate motion sickness far more.

So this isn't a skill I use yet, my sorc not being that advanced, just one I loathe -- the flapping winged sorcerer pet. (Also any non-combat pets that hand in the air flickering their wings). That motion on my screen makes me queasy fast. It's been a problem for me for over 25 years now (counting not just screen flickering objects in games but also RL ceiling fans). My eye jitters to follow the motion and my tummy flops.

It was a happy, happy day for me when ESO made it so while banking or crafting, you stop seeing all the other players around you and their pets.

I don't like any of the sorc summon sounds. The Twilight especially. That and the Clannfear are also annoying when they get in the way of my screen but the Familiar is small enough to not bother me as much.

    Steel Tornado looks lame.

Not a skill but there's a certain female voice for characters that grates my ears. Forget which one it is, but it's the one that sounds like an old lady smoker's voice. I accidentally forgot to set a voice for a character I made, and the one I got was that one. The grunts annoyed me so much that I spent 1000 crowns just to change the voice.

Easily, number 1 since day 1, magelight. F*** that little floating light. Man I miss the glowing blue smoke coming off the eyes and hands though...

Reminds me, Flames of Oblivion is pretty lame, similar to Magelight it's just a spinning floating ball. The skill is called Flames of Oblivion, it should be way cooler looking.

I want to add something: I really want to use the Worm's Raiment set bonus, but I hate those big blue balls. A soft glow or even just small motes could be neat. The giant balls are just distracting and gaudy. I just really don't understand who okay'd that one. :(

With how bad some of these animations have continued to be (axes & hammers with DW & 1 hand/shield abilities, dive, blade cloak, netch, puncturing strikes, and on and on) I've always wondered if ZOS really play their own game. Seriously. With all of the good things the game has (great world visuals, music, voice acting), why would you half ass the combat animations that we do non stop daily? I just don't get it..

Templar jabs. That skill looks so stupid and makes your equipped weapons disappear when you use it..and spamming it is required if you want to do dps as a Templar. Most idiotic looking animation in the game.

    So i don't play Templar.

I wholly disagree. Replacing all skills with Cloak is much more practical.

Most skills look terrible. Combat is the reason why I don't play ESO that much any more, just horrible.

Thankfully questing is incredibly easy, so I can get my story and leave.

I will agree that Blade Cloak looks...underwhelming. Although I suppose "a ring of floating razors" - as opposed to, oh, I don't know, blades - shouldn't look very imposing to begin with. We should only be so thankful the animators didn't take the tooltip too literally (think - a swarm of pink Ladies' Schicks...).

Trap (both morphs) is a bit underwhelming as well, in that I hardly ever actually notice it (other than the seconds ticking down on my toolbar).

Reverse Slash/Slice just looks idiotic (especially with the shouting). Plenty of ways to pseudo-realistic 2H strikes that actually look "cool". No, we're going to make you hop around like a rhesus monkey on meth...and both Templar and DW jabs are tied for second (I mean, just try to imagine someone trying those moves in a real fight...).

Vampire feeding is all kinds of stupid. Both the bit of feeding without actually touching the person (by causing their blood to spontaneously emerge from their body as a single stream powerful enough not to be affected by gravity for at least ten feet), and the part where after an animation that shows you sucking out what looks like hectolitres of blood you then get to fight the victim. Who is at 100% health. Because ponies.

Oddly enough, I don't mind the DK or Warden skills very much...
