Can't equip 2 staffs

I have just tested equipping 2 staffs, but can't do it. I tried equipping 2 lightening staffs (one Spriggans, the other plain crafted). I tried Spriggans lightening and inferno, then Spriggans restoration with both of the destruction staffs. No luck with any configuration. Is this a bug or am I doing something incorrectly?

In case you are serious...
The weapons work the exact same way they always did. They fill both slots, using 2 hands. They just count as double for item set bonuses so you only need 4 pieces for a 5 piece set bonus.

Are you trying to do it on the same bar? Staffs require 2 hands to use so they can't be dual wielded. You can have 1 staff on your front bar and one on your back bar.

Sigh...I'll never get why the hostility to an honest question. I popped on to PTS for the first time to test out some of the new features. I could not see any way the new feature for 2h weapons worked. I asked in zone chat and someone answered that they had 2 staffs equipped in the same way you would equip dual wield, for example. But I couldn't do it so decided to ask here. That's the purpose of this forum, isn't it? To get and share info about what we see on PTS?

I tried multiple configurations, but am not seeing the item bonus making 4 pieces have the 5 piece set bonus. I thought maybe you had to equip a weapon in each slot. Didn't work. Asked questions. Silly me. After reading these forums for over 4 years, I should know better.

Sorry if it came across that way. This is text which is easy to misinterpret.
I was thinking this was a joke post as I expected you would understand what they meant in the patch notes, and had read them, based on your forum stars indicating you have posted here at least 1000 times(I just got that promotion recently).

Edit:
If you're not seeing the 5th bonus activate then make sure you have 3 armor pieces on first and then equip the weapon. Then check the tooltip of the equipped weapon and see if the 5th bonus is "white" lit up rather than "grayed out".
If it is still grayed out then /bug that as that is why we test.

I think you got trolled.

The new system is that staves (and other 2h weapons) count twice for set bonuses. So, one 2h weapon will grant you the 2pc bonus for its set by itself. Wearing a 2h weapon, two rings, and a necklace will complete a 5pc bonus for that set. You can't dual wield staves like in Skyrim.

Ill check this. I run 5 piece rattlecage and netches set and have over 45% sc. i still have 5 pieces cause of the staves but when I run a monster set with crit i drop to less than 35% crit. It is if the staff highlights you have 5 pieces on but does not give the 5 piece bonus. With my monster set I should have higher crit than without it but do not.

2H weapons (bow, maul, greatsword, battleaxe, staves) still uses 2 item slots, but they now grant 2x set bonuses compared to 1 set bonus they granted earlier.
