ZO$ sucks enough to do this, but i dont recall anything saying this.
This would be a whole new level of unacceptable.
Correct. Drop rate seems quite common from what I've seen myself and heard from others. As long as duplicates are auto converted to gems (they arent tradeable and can't be manually converted as far as we can tell), then I have no problem with it. I'd prefer the loot table to be full of these than stupid masks that look almost identical and I'll never wear in my whole time playing

The most frustrating thing I see is if you open your free crates and get one page of this. You either trash it or use it and always have 1/14 in your library.LukosCreyden wrote: »The sad thing is, people will buy into this garbage. They always do. The amount of "super-apex" mounts I see tells me that a lot of players are sinking money into this.
I'll pretend the motif doesn't exist. I'm cool with that. I have plenty of motifs I earned in-game that I can use instead.
As Astrid said sadly these won't be removed as they work as a padding. Crates have a system for delivery of items which actually works out as only one guaranteed non-consumable item.Could anyone tell me if the motif pages have replaced some of the other trash in the crates? or if they are in addition too all the potion, posions, food and other trash?

Not helped by them pushing the store in our faces more and more *cough* full screen log in window *cough*VerboseQuips wrote: »LukosCreyden wrote: »The sad thing is, people will buy into this garbage. I might have to do that. But it costs me more and more and more effort to push things away from my consciousness and pretend they don't exist in this game. This is seriously infuriating me. And this is really hurting my enjoyment of the game.
If your definition of winning includes becoming master crafter, then this is RNG-P2W. It is, actually worse than the two Crown Store motifs, with which I was kind of fine. I'm still unsure of my decision, but that's pushing the line too far for me. The day where, for some reason, I am perma-locked away from being a master crafter is probably the day my journey in Tamriel will end, alas, as being a master crafter has been my long-term goal since the very beginning of the said journey.

The sad thing isn't HOW people spend their money, it is the fact that in the act of doing so, they are encouraging more of this "put it in the crate, add more rng" mentality. I am certainly not hating on the players who buy these; they want the stuff, they buy it. It is there choice. ZOS or whomever within is responsible, is seeing this and piling more items into the crates, more rng into the crates. This is the thing that saddens me.
How long until they put houses into the crates with absurdly low odds? Trials skins?? I hope never.

Even if they're common, you'll need to buy - at minimum - something like 15 Crates, assuming RNG went your way, you didn't get many dupes, you got more than one in at least a couple boxes, and you broke down literally everything else to buy the missing pages. Realistically it'd look like 40 or 50 Crates, maybe more.
That's a HUGE amount of money to sink into maybe getting a full motif. If you're cool with that, then... well... I envy your discretionary income.
