PTS performance and MacOS

While there is promise of multi-core support, I have seen nothing but fps decrease on my 2017 iMac. I play the base game on near-maximum, with addons. Is it just me (other Mac people seeing improvements?), or is it due to the PTS not being optimised yet for the Mac? Thanks in advance for your input.
