It needs to stay but it needs a revision.

You should as a level 9 crafter be able to repair your own armour for free at the right station

Repair boxes should also be craftable as a level 9 crafter costing you meterials not gold

Not everything has to be a gold sink ... But you most definitely should see weapons and armour get damaged from use and deaths

To me it's just part of the RPG element ....doesn't bother me. I fix up my gear every time I go to town and have more than enough soul shards to charge my weapons.

I don't think weapon and armor repair should be removed. However, if you have leveled Blacksmithing, Clothing and Woodworking to 50 you should be able to repair your own gear not have to pay a merchant or get repair kits. I have said this before and there is no RHYME nor REASON to ZOS's refusal to implement it.

This is annoying, isn't it. I hate being on a nice clean dungeon run, at the final boss, and all of a sudden I lose taunt because the game locks up. 1.5 seconds is enough for 5 billion calculations, or 35 pings from New York to Tokyo. What are they doing with all that time?

I just have addons automatically scrap junk, repair gear and recharge weapons tbh

You get so many soul gems doing vet content that the *** will fall out of your pockets, unless you fail as a healer, get a lot of sucky teams or do trials you will have a lot

Repairing is annoying, recharging I don't even notice anymore.

Also, I wanna feel like my moolah made has to pay some kinda in game billage or whatever, like soul gem recharging. 'lil smidgen' of immersion.

Enchantment Charge with soul gems is actually part of the Elder Scrolls Universe and so is weapon and armor repair at least it was until TES IV Oblivion, Skyrim didn't use gear repair, I missed it.

It's a gold sink and it's part of the ESO world, at least the charging weapons part.

It's the reason i repair at vendors instead even tho i got allot of repair boxes
