    3,5 and 6,4 seconds isn't very worthwhile for potions with ingredients as rare as these.

    Stamplars would give you much higher uptime than those poisons. And anyway, groups will just run Sunderflame for those minir debuffs and kick their stamplars now.

    Shh stick in mud, I still like it. It's nice to have. I will use it. It's a nice trade off from more healing (weapon enchament) to more debuffs.

    I'm still looking for Mucksponge, Scathecraw, Green Lichen, Fire Salts, Void Salts, Giants Toe, Vampire Ash, Honey, Salt etc etc. There are a lot of cool alchemical ingredients I'd love to see added to the game, even if they duplicate other effects. I'd really be excited if they could give us Water Breathing and Swimming/Diving.

    I would love to have a fighting chance versus slaughterfish as well.

    No, I don't think so. For that you would need to have two ingredients having increase armor and increase spell power effects which doesn't exist atm. Neither there are two ingredients with fracture and increase spell power effects atm., which would make even better poison.

    Has anyone been down to Imperial City to see if the new ingredients are part of the Apothecary Satchels' loot table? If so, that could go a long way toward bringing better population into IC.

    Doesn't seem like it, I opened 100 Satchels just now and didn't get a single one of either of the new ingredients.

    Sad. Maybe ZOS will add them in eventually. Thanks for checking though! I haven't been able to spend much time on PTS due to IRL stuff.

    That's true. One alchemical amplification enchantment will add 3.6s more potion effect duration. Infused jewelry trait will add 60% more enchantment potency which in this case is 1.6*3.6s = 5.76s. So 3x alchemical amplification enchantments jewelry equipped (infused trait) will add 17.28s to the potion effect durations:

    From the 4.0.2 patch which changed these 2 reagents the effects are:

    Clam Gall
    • Spell Resist
    • Slow/Hindrance
    • Vulnerability
    • Defile

    Mother of Pearl
    • Sustained Restore Health
    • Speed
    • Vitality
    • Protection

    I got these from the game's raw data file so if they don't match the in-game version let me know. Our Alchemy Calculator has been updated with these 2 reagents.

    Yes the clams are hard to find, perhaps 30 found with several hours of searching along almost all of the shores of summerset. The worst part is the drop chance of clam gall and mother of pearl would seem to be quite low at perhaps 30% drop chance of either from clams. Honestly with the rarity of clams it should be 100% chance to obtain one or the other.
    The chance from the reward clam at the end of the geyser appears to be little better. The number of clams needs to be increased along with the drop chance it is just far too low.

    Hey everyone . I have some concerns about this change . This is probably one of the most important changes that happened in this patch , allowing us to have different potions . BUT , I have run around the whole Summerset for an hour . I literally stepped on every single shore that has even a slight chance of having a Giant Clam . Result ? Around 15 Giant Clams . I got 2 Clam Galls and 1 Powdered Mother of Pearl . I used one of each because that is a guaranteed trait discovery . Clam Gall has Breach and Powdered Mother of Pearl has Health Restore . I tried to combine the other Clam Gall with Blessed Thistle and it failed . Problem is , the drop chance is really really low . Most of the Clams I opened gave me Alkahest and Fish , some gave Water Hyacinth . I already tried Alchemy bags in Imperial City , they don't drop these new items . Templates also do not have these in the crafting bag . I triple checked , they don't .

    So I am asking this . How are we supposed to use these potions . We run around for an hour for 4 potions or 16 poisons ? Keep in mind that I didn't see anyone else running around and collecting Clams . As far as I see , there are no other ways to acquire these items . So what's the deal ? Even if there is a different combination that is actually useful , no one is gonna be able to use it because we use potions every 45 seconds ! This is not the same with Perfect Roe . This is not the same as consuming food buffs . They go for 2 hours and these go for 47 seconds !

    Anyway , even if you are going to keep the looting way like this , at least give us the new items in the templates or just publish their traits so we can figure out the new combinations ourselves ^^

    During the IC event that just ended, i spent over 100k tel var on alchemy sacks from merchant. I did get PMoP reagent from the IC bags, although out of all the bags i opened i received a total of 2 PMoP reagents. So it does drop from those, but its rare
