Would you pay $25 a month for ESO if ALL micro-transactions were removed?

No, because the game would be deserted and what's the point of playing an MMO with no people in it?

I want to pay 15 a month and be able to buy the stuff INSIDE the crates for my crowns!

I would pay the $25 sub if they kept DIRECT micro-transactions (crown store) and got rid of the crown crates for good, and crown store items were more reasonably priced (would would result in more frequent purchasing).

Crown crates are a bad system all around in my opinion. But I don't even have ESO+ right now considering I can't afford it currently. So I definitely wouldn't pay 10 dollars more, even if it mean't no more crown crates. The other crown store stuff though I'm pretty much fine with. as long as you are getting what you paid for rather then gamble boxes which you pay more for potions you will never use.

MTX is the future of gaming monetization. Subscription games have mostly died because not everyone wants to pay. The balance of income is greater with mtx even. Some people have free money for goodies.

Leave current subscription prices and all micro transactions as is.

I have no problem with the cash shop + buy-to-play model.

It's just those parasitic scam crates that need to die in a fire.

Whether MTX/RNG are the future of gaming monetization is debatable. Lotta news out there, specifically regarding loot crates, specifically in 2017-2018. Microtransactions are a lot less offensive than RNG-based systems like loot boxes - and you're probably right, in a lotta regards to MTX sticking around, as they're a decent substitute for increasing the base cost of games (games haven't increased to account for inflation, so DLC, not just expansion-type DLC, has made up for that), but loot crates, are on dubious footing right now.

Actually, loot crates are technically a type of microtransaction, but let's ignore that for now.

    Yes, of course!
I put yes but only if they included the content they would have in the shop in the game and a means to unlock them..Otherwise no I wouldn't. I don't sub now due to the cash shop and the fact I don't have a lot of spare money to throw at their over priced 'limited' items. The 25 should still be a optional thing though and maybe a small cash shop sticking around for people who don't want to sub but still get items.

    1) Paying for content entourages more content being created.

    2) Paying for time encourages making things take more time, which this game is grindy enough.

I will never pay a mandatory subscription again, highly unlikely even optional ones again. I'm actually really really being soured on online gaming at all. You can't customize difficulty, can't mod, can't play if the servers are down, can't play if your internet isn't behaving, can't play at all once the game gets shut down....etc.
The return on my investment keeps getting less and less especially as cost of content increases.

As long as new content is released in a timely fashion and they add the cosmetics as achievement rewards or loot drops then sure.

I do not "rent" software. Ever. I won't play WOW because of "subscription" fees (it's called extortion, people) and I would drop ESO in a nanosecond if I was forced to pony up to play software that I already own. I don't mind the Crown Store in the slightest, and I always buy the DLC outright when it comes out. That's fair, and that's how I roll.

You own nothing, how can you not know this?
