problems with the quest to get to summerset

I have attempted to complete the quest to get to summerset,twice where I save the mage fom the cocoon that the two spiders are weaving,in the delve in auridon,but both times when I destroy the podium she is cocooned on she falls and says we need to get out of here,i get kicked/logged off server,after relogin I am outside delve again as if I have never entered.so what do I do now
