pvp defense and offense stats

i see players hitting rly hard but taking rly low dmg in duells so i rly would like to know what stats i need to go for. like crit reduction and heavyarmor ? is heavyarmor still a thing in pvp becouse last year when i informed myself a youtuber said everyone using heavy armor in pvp

Heavy armor is popular, but it really depends on your class. I personally still like all medium on my stamblade, but I do need several pieces with impen to help with defense. But a lot of people run heavy.
