On the topic at hand, I've gotten the early thingabobbers for Summerset and certainly look forward to playing. I don't know what my RL day is gonna look like that far ahead though. Something else might take priority.

Hm, you missed the opportunity to get Summerset and Morrowind for the price of just Summerset then. But maybe you are right and it will be added to ESO+ at some point in time, who knows.

I personally are unlikely to play it on release date - I rather wait for the hype to cool down, I just do not want my enemies all dead in a quest, I rather prefer to experience it in a more solo-play way.

Hopefully my pre-Morrowind character won't be missing out on another skill point, especially since they'll be needed now more than ever with the new jewelry and Psijic skill lines...

I will not be playing Summerset because I did not purchase it

Didn't buy it for a few reasons

1. Don't care about quest(vvardenfell was boring)
2. Don't care about jewelry crafting(I have my sets and they will still be good if I need anything will ask guild to craft it)
3. Won't need anything from skill line on my mdk
4. Don't do trials(not because the are hard they are just to long and it's hard to get a group that will play with a mdk)
5. Nothing for pvp

This chapter and the last have been huge disappointments to me. I really don't understand why people are so excited about this. Some pretty trees and more quest have fun for 3 weeks then never return.

Honestly, based on every other update, I am going to wait to do the stories and such. I will do what I need to get Jewelry Crafting going, but will hold off on most content. Doing things with a 1000 other players is just not that much fun. After a couple of weeks, it won't seem like I am one of the horde saving the world.

I will be dreading the bugs and game performance issues that will come with its launch. Not once in the history of ZOS's major updates have they not caused problems even after PTS testing where major bugs and issues were reported to them.

Taking a vacation/personal day from work and playing Summerset

I'll be getting home from my stag do the night before... 4 days of it! So 've got a day off booked already, Summerset dropping is a nice bonus that day..... but will I be in a fit state to play it?

Not sure yet, but I most likely will not be playing Summerset.

In theory it is my day off work, but I'm in Europe so about 8 hours ahead of ZOS, meaning the update probably won't hit until the evening anyway. Then there's the old rule about never trying to play on patch day, which goes double for an expansion.

But also my real life is pretty unpredictable. I'm not normally scheduled to be working Mondays but there's no guarantee I won't need to work that Monday, and if not I'll almost certainly have a lot of real life things to do.

On top of which I haven't even bought it yet. I might get it before release, or I might wait until after since I've got a lot to do both in game and in real life and I doubt I'd have time to play it for at least a few months anyway, so I may as well wait for a cheaper price.
