So, like the title explains I am a bit confused. I know cap is at 32k (I think). Wich gives 50% mitigation iirc. Correct me if I'm wrong plz :P
My question is, I have Nord warden, wich gives me 6% dmg reduction, and I have the frost cloak wich gives me another 8%. do these numbers add up to the mitigation cap? or are these wasted stats? Thanks in advance.

You have the mentioned resistance cap at ~32k physical and spell resistance.
You can however increase your mitigation further with things like: minor, major protection or mitigation that isn't listed as a major minor buff like Nord passive or empowering sweep.

The mitigation however works multiplicative rather than additive meaning you can't reach 100% damage mitigation.
This means you have diminishing returns on mitigation.

Resistance cap is 33,100. Tested this myself. 33,100=50% damage mitigation. Each 662 resistance =1% damage reduction.
