I have 15 characters. Daily writs are my only source of money. I can do via them 1 milion per week.
Yes but this require you to use a lot of skill points. Now if you have an retired character you can make him an dedicated crafter.I have 15 characters. Daily writs are my only source of money. I can do via them 1 milion per week.
Yeah, people really don’t understand just how much gold they’re letting go down the drain for every character that they don’t do daily writs for. Per character you get something like 3.8k or 4k gold (in straight-up gold), plus a chance to receive legendary quality improvements (e.g. Dreugh Wax). Then on top of that, you have a chance to receive “Master Writs” which can sell for a fair amount of gold. Plus a chance to get surveys, whuch will lead you to more raw materials to refine.
Now then, let’s step back and examine things from a mathematical perspective. Let’s say you have 12 characters. That’s 45.6k to 48k per character you’re pulling in a day. If you ya have 14 characters? That’s 53.2k to 56k a day. Just from daily writs alone. Lol. You doing that 7 days a week...? That’s 372k to 392k a week. Lmao. Do I need to post the math for a month and so on?
And mind you, that’s just for doing the daily crafting writs. Not even selling anything, and or looting anything.
I stopped doing daily writs because I found them annoying. Craft here, run across Tamriel to drop them there.Yeah, people really don’t understand just how much gold they’re letting go down the drain for every character that they don’t do daily writs for.
@Violynne are they always the same across all characters? Does alliance affect this at all? I’m new to writs but am doing them on 7 chars (6 DC, 1 AD) for the sake of the event. It would help a lot to craft it all on one character.I stopped doing daily writs because I found them annoying. I only recently discovered we can now drop off writs where we craft them, which should have been available on day 1.
Because of this simplistic change, I'm actually doing daily writs again. I can now have them completed within 30 minutes because I use one character to craft them all, then bank the copies so the others turn them in.
Works for all except pots... this one seems randomly generated.
I've noticed provisioning recipes will be different depending on the alliance (at least at low level).@Violynne are they always the same across all characters? Does alliance affect this at all? Yes. Always. How do you say no to free: Gold, CP, mats, and anniversary goodies?
Anotherone773 wrote: »But its not actually free. You have to spend resources to do the writs and if your doing multiple characters you burn a lot of resources. I do the everyday, no matter the level of my character. You will always get more gold than what you spend (except for alchemy when it asks for some expensive alchemy reagents).
I don't spent points into blacksmith/clothing/woodworking unless I can max it to level 10. I keep surveys in bank and go get it with my maxed crafter as the mats are levelled with gatherer.I've noticed provisioning recipes will be different depending on the alliance (at least at low level).@Violynne are they always the same across all characters? Alliance doesn't change anything for the other crafts.
There is a rotation of what you will need to craft. It is not synced between each char. One can have to craft daggers, another one can have to craft a sword.
However, it is always in the same order (A -> B -> C -> A ->. B -> C). Once you have to craft something you already had to, you have finished a cycle and can predict what you will need to craft the next day.
