How about a ESO Plus Loyalty Crown Store.

I think rewards for continuous support would prevent the off and on subscribers... If you quit your subscription, your continuous loyalty clock resets....

It is kinda silly to talk about who is more loyal. That is irrelevant. What is relevant is that ZOS wants to encourage more people to sub. Don't get confused by calling it 'loyalty' rewards.

I am obviously the MOST loyal... I've killed the most orcs...

Perhaps login frequency is a good metric of one's loyalty to ESO...
The ESO+ loyalty program obviously refers to one's loyalty to ESO+... ie: subscribing...
Don't confuse loyalty to ESO with loyalty to ESO+...

How a about the game is literally advertised as no subscription required but yet it is required for some features.....

    Why suggest more requirements?
Realistically the game either needs to be 100% required sub or 100% no sub even for eso plus, just sale DLC in the store with cosmetics and remove crowns.

No. I've been subbed since the beginning of the game and I think this is just silly. We get tons of QOL upgrades for $.50/day.

FWIW, I adore my loyalty senche. That present may have been a bit of mistake on ZOS's part, since I've never felt compelled to buy another mount. :|

They just need to do loyalty rewards based on sub time like they did in the first year.

    1 year=
    2 years =
    3 years =
    4 years =

If they wanted to do some shorter than a year they could of course. Maybe some minor things. The yearly rewards should be subscriber loyalty Skins/Plymorphs/mounts only(One of these each year, not all three). These would not be items that a non-sub could get.

I think that would be a very cool bonus for subbing that long and supporting the game.

As an ESO+ player, I don't really see this as fair, or really that much incentive to subscribing for those that don't sub already. I am, however, all for the idea of having a Loyalty Program like they did before removing the subscription wall.

Things being only available to the subscribed player, only, also wouldn't seem that much worth it in the end. If they could be traded to those that don't subscribe would seem much more fair(though, nothing in the crown store can be traded or gifted anyways).

Everything being said, Plus members do get 1500 Crowns a month to spend on whatever we want in the Crown Store,

You will be able to gift crown store items next patch btw

Takes an extra hoop to jump through, but you can gift crown store items now.

Basically what I’m suggestion is a VIP crown store only available to Plus members only. In that, as long as your a subscriber to the Plus program, then each month offer a discontinued crown store item from the past for purchase (ex: Mask of Cheerful Slaughter, Imgakin Monkey

Honestly, wouldn't mind but not eso+ only. Other games, like Rift, have VIP based on what u spend. That could actually make sense.

    No

And I am a Plus subscriber. There is zero reason to further incentivize monthly subscriptions.

OP, I think it's a good idea. I'm not certain why anyone with a plus membership would say no because it's completely silly to turn down a discount given to you on a voluntary purchase. It's the same logic you can apply already..if you don't want the on-sale item then simply don't buy it. I swear the people here are allergic to money.

This is the exact flaw in their current system of ESO+. ZOS made a huge mistake by giving out 1500 crowns per month to monthly members. ESO+Members should have been given exclusive VIP member points to spend on custom VIP content that could only be obtained by having a membership and getting enough VIP member points. These items would not be P2W items, but purely custom cosmetic things. ESO+ members should get rewarded benefits that only they can have access to. I'm totally fine with that and see no problem in it. I don't want to pay for such a thing, but anyone who wants to should be able to have exclusive access to these types of VIP items.

Instead, ZOS kept doling out Crowns like mad every month to ESO+ members. Some people hoarded up thousands of crowns. Then when ZOS launched Morrowind/Summerset, etc., they realized if we make it purchasable by Crowns we will lose out on a huge chunk of revenue. ZOS devalued their own Crown currency. The people who paid the penalty for this poor decision were people like me who buy all of their DLC with crowns. It was a perfect system before they screwed everything up. If you wanted to sub monthly, you got access to all new and past content. If you didn't want to sub monthly, you could buy the new content by purchasing crowns. Then ZOS got a bit crafty and deceitful and decided to change their business model and make everyone purchase the new content with cash only(no crowns). Many longtime, loyal players such as myself took it on good faith and trusted ZOS that they had to make this business model change of how players purchase new content. Then what did ZOS do? They betrayed us and made it possible to purchase Morrowind with Crowns!! I had thousands of crowns I had bought with cash that were ready to go for Morrowind before it came out, but they wouldn't allow us to use them. Now with a great amount of hypocrisy, they are allowing people to purchase Morrowind in the Crown Store with Crowns.

Also, don't fail to forget they screwed over both types of players. They also screwed everyone who had subbed monthly for the new content by changing their wording around ever so slightly so that it would not include things like Morrowind/Summerset etc, in the monthly sub. This was a great treason to their loyal subs who had supported them since the beginning.

ZOS has made some huge missteps recently. I'd already preordered Summerset before they made the announcement that Morrowind could be purchased by Crowns so I will go ahead and play through Summerset. However, after that point I will not be spending any more money on the game if they can't be honest and upfront about what they will accept as payment for new content. Are Crowns going to be allowed, is it cash only for new large content, will it be part of the monthly sub? Get your business model straight, clear, honest, and upfront. That way all players will know where they stand with ZOS. It's simply unfair and downright shameful business practice to force players to pay cash for new content when these players had already bought Crowns with cash for new content. Then ZOS decides to reverse their own decision and accept Crowns for Morrowind. As of lately, their business model has been as windy as a sack full of farts.
