Lost Precursor left hand - how can I fix?????

I'm doing the precursor quest for clockwork city and went to inner sea armature and the left hand is not there for my main toon. I can see it on an alt but I want the achievement on my main toon. The only thing I can think of is that at some point perhaps I picked it up and lost it or deleted? But I am not sure. Is there any way to get it again so I can complete this??????

You can't lose a quest items, it will be bound to your character's inventory, and you won't be able to sell or destroy it unless you pass a prompt check. The way it could have disappeared from your inventory is that you simply gave it to the robot. I think if you sell or destroy quest items without turning them in they will reappear at the same location from which they were picked up. I know I did that with an Orsinium treasure for the museum.

Ha Ha, how embarrassing! That's exactly what happened. I placed it in the frame and promptly forgot all about it.
