With all the server issues, the morrowind crap and just crap in general, they should start a crown sale asap. At least this will be something the playerbase wants and it actually benefits the developers.

But, what will happen as usual they will stay quiet/be cowardly about all the controversy and do nothing.

lets hope i am wrong.

But then we would reward NA players when they don't have issues! :scream:

EU only sale is clearly what we need.

No they shouldn’t, they should remove the crown store and sale things directly in an online cart like the chapters are sold.

Just convert crowns back to actual money spent as a credit balance. That would allow them to have sales for items and not be limited to how much stuff they can put in the game store.

I understand why they use virtual currency tho, but downtime and service issues should NOT use that virtual currency as a problem solver. That and the sales are what have deteriorated the value of crowns causing crazy crown prices for items.

Constant problems logging in on xbox

    Major lag switching weapon bars.

Kind of what I wondered had happened. It's frustrating if it's the case.

no, they got greedy because they started to lose money so in their stupidity they thought that increasing prices would fix that.

I don't think they've ever started to lose money. It's always seemed they've been growing in what they can make due to increased players and new business models.

The store has crept up and up since launch though, the starting prices were so much more friendly, but they keep pushing the boundaries every now and then. Once something seems "normal" we don't make a fuss any more right?

Why would any marketing department act on a few comments on a forums (often in offensive ways) vs the data showing people are buying everything you're selling regardless.

I mean I am guilty of it myself. I complain about prices and crates, still go and thrust my money in their faces demanding they take it when a new Dunmer thing comes out.

Because to a marketing team selling virtual fluff, any sale means a success. Selling 3 x 80$ mount that took one art dev a day or two to reskin, is 100% better than selling 24 of them priced at 5$, and (depending on salaries) is in the green budget wise.

My point being, they really don't need to sell a lot of them for them to be profitable, as such they have absolutely no reason going against making these reskins and these types of cosmetic content, the price is analyzed based on what actually brings them more money. And a high price with few sales really does have a chance of getting them more profit than a low price with plenty of sales (that would be skewed by eso+ members using their free crowns on it and as such no real revenue on those sales). They gain more by high price tags forcing 'whales' to buy crowns, or Eso+ members to just buy that 1 tiny crown pack to reach the total asking price etc...

The new lag crown crates will be released in the next week or two. Most of the rewards are extra lag but there's a possibility of an apex reward for lag free playing for 1 hour.
They start at €40 a box

No they shouldn’t, they should remove the crown store and sale things directly in an online cart like the chapters are sold.

Just convert crowns back to actual money spent as a credit balance. That would allow them to have sales for items and not be limited to how much stuff they can put in the game store.

I understand why they use virtual currency tho, but downtime and service issues should NOT use that virtual currency as a problem solver. That and the sales are what have deteriorated the value of crowns causing crazy crown prices for items.

Once something seems "normal" we don't make a fuss any more right?

but people are always making a fuss, they just dont listen and it doesnt help that idiots pay $80 for a mount

its not whether they listen or not, i'm sure they do. what they don't do is take action on what they hear. can't say i blame them for that.
Why would any marketing department act on a few comments on a forums (often in offensive ways) vs the data showing people are buying everything you're selling regardless.

I mean I am guilty of it myself. I complain about prices and crates, still go and thrust my money in their faces demanding they take it when a new Dunmer thing comes out.

how do you know the metrics show people are buying things, and just because they are buying doesn't mean its optimal.

these guys don't really understand the business aspect of things. A lot of people in the gaming industry dont, that is why you see so many stupid decisions.

    And you do? Got it.

You were already wrong when you wrote this, they explained about the EU server issue yesterday.

This one looks at the notes, lag crown crates are not in the plan. Not to worry!

the metrics for any business is all the activity. you think they run the crown store without recording all sales? really?

actually, yes i do. This is a gaming company, they make stupid decisions.

remember this is the same company that failed at launch and had to rework their game. They are not business geniuses.

    failed at launch?

they shifted 750 000 copies on day 1. you consider that a failure?

edit to add: and bear in mind that was pc only.
