It rained all weekend, so I called GOD for reimbursement of My days off. Then I called My Boss and complained that We should work less hours, and get more pay. The local grocery store manager looked at me weird when I suggested they should have more free stuff. I don't even know why I have to pay for food, I mean seriously every one needs it to survive, why don't farmers just give Me it? It's unfair my neighbor drives a better car then Me. This video game would be better if everything was free... like the last game..but it was boring.
Reality Check?
Maintenance in 2018 has lot more going on then just fixing a game. Internet attacks are happening daily, and if Your not fixing that DAILY Your seriously outta touch. Security is probably #1 reason right now game is going through all this maintenance. You think European server problem was ESO fault? Seriously, unless ZOS were required to give you compensation, they won't. They certainly havent in the past, no matter how, many threads beg for it.

this still is bad publicity whatsoever though... it's the anniversary event and many people joined over and 4 maintenances in 4 days is not a good picture...also remember the last group dungeon event....or the free play weekend at that time...

attention out of touch individual, I am not after free stuff, i am after PLAYING THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED and make use of the subscription service I pay and subscribe to. in an ideal world downtime would only happen on the schedule days and that is fine, i am not saying NO maintenance (even tho world of tanks and EVE online etc can manage no maintenance days or 30 minutes) i am saying that when i literally can't play the product through no fault of my own then what am I paying for

Does it matter? ZOS hasn't given compensation for downtime or maintenance since the game went B2Play as far as I can tell. Clearly they don't care about the impact of "bad publicity" or feel the need to compensate, no matter how many threads beg for it.
