[Resolved] I accidentally learned an Akaviri Helm motif. What options do I have?

Yesterday I got an Akaviri helm motif page from an event box and didn't put it in my bank at that time. Today I logged in to do writs and as I destroy materials to make room in my inventory (at around 19:25 CEST) I accidentally clicked on the motif on a character that isn't even my crafter (but skilled enough to do high level writs and thus eligable for learning it).

Since I never intended to learn that motif and planned to sell it, as I am just not a samurai fan, I am very sad about this incident and the Outfit option isn't a comfort. The "get help" option has a "lost item" section, but apparently it says that I need to click get help via the inventory option, which I find very confusing as I don't have the item that I lost to link. I submitted a ticket anyway. What other way is there apart from putting this on the forum? Should I link the item from the cyrodiil vendor in a new ticket?

Cry. I don't think it's possible for them to give you back the items and take away the motif knowledge.

Your only hope is that your ticket comes back saying they can do the above, however I've personally never heard of it.

If it makes you feel better to know others pain I have done this three times this event already. The UI jumping around (new items on top) when opening boxes caused a couple and one I did thinking I was on the bank UK and depositing.

What is known cannot be unknown. Yes even after a night of fine ale at The Rosy Lion.

Beware on what you click on traveller. We have all accidentally taught something to the wrong apprentice at some time or other.

Keep opening those delicious anniversary boxes though and you may find something else nice to soothe your pain.

Well unless it counts as "altered item" the automated mail doesn't say it's impossible, so I'll keep my hopes up for now.
Why is there a "do you really want to upgrade this item at a 100% success chance?" but not a "do you really want to learn that motif?" check?

Because motif is a consumable item.
That's why you also don't have "do you really wanna use that food/drink/potion/blueprint/soulgem?" etc.

Also alas if customer services they spent their days returning things used accidentally then their days would probably need to each be a week long.

They probably won't do it for one person because then they would get many many requests for the same.

If you asked nicely, and you have never asked for anything like this before, you might get the item back. They won’t be able to ‘unlearn’ the motif on that character, but they might mail the page to you to replace it. Everyone makes mistakes - CS are humans and they will help you out one time if they can.
