Healers need to have have spc. Full stop. You are not serious about healing or supporting your team if you do not have spc.

Twice Born Star will still be garbage TBH.
Consider that two of the set bonuses from the set are going to offer you nothing as a DPS, and then that you are getting anout 340 extra weapon damage from the Warrior.
Hundings, with full divines and Lover is going to give you 40 less weapon damage, but gives you the same stamina, alongside another 7.5% crit chance.
Twice Born was only ever viable with the old crit damage stacking mechanics, along with the older values of Shadow and Thief. Right now, any flat stat set plus a mundus is going to outperform Twice Born.

Wow, I had ACTUALLY also typed that exact same idea! I had some misgivings, though. My worry was Dampennot offering much of a shields, other than activating armor master. Though, any mitigation is good mitigation, so to get that + 5000 resists will definitely max you out on /spell. Magicka Regen would be pretty high.
@GrumpyDuckling I really like this idea. Plus, light armor nets you a good amount of spell critical, and spell resistance (not bad when you need a crit GDB). Could see this build being very good on a variety of tanks, but much moreso on Nightblade tanks, which may well join the forefront.
And as Staves will be two-piece, may be able to run a Fortified Brass ice-Staff backbar. When your stam gets low from S/B, can switch and put a little Mag to use (plus can run blockade for crusher/weakening uptime).
why not all three and you can jesus beam your way through everything;)

PvP healers have been able to have 5/5/2 since you absolutely need to have s/b to counteract being focused.
And you didn't say pvp, you said "some". No pve healer will skip SPC. Full stop. Even in PvP it has value, even if the buff is capped at six players.
the only old sets viable in a combo in my opinion are the tavas histbark combo. all other craftable sets remain left behind (not talking about those, who actually gets used). i rather think, that we will see some combos of the new set like shacklebreaker paired with innate axiom. those hybrid sets mostly grant more boni than others, so big stats are easy achievable.
