Necrotic orb moph?

Hello everyone, i'm an argonian nightblade healer and i don't which morh i should take for Necrotic Orb
I know that the advised morph is Energy Orb, but i'm not really fond of it. I have already many hots and big heals, i don't think adding another one would be very helpful. Is Mystic Orb a good morph too?

    both morphs are fine, but energy orb is more recommended for healers. if you go into trails, i think one healer should provide energy orbs, the other mystic orbs. maybe this statement is already outdated.
    energy orbs have the advantage, that they dont do damage and so dont pull aggro. anyway the healing of the skills is pretty nice, while the damage morph only deals a little bit of damage. thats why it is rather the undesired morph.

    Honestly...I can't remember last time I see mystic orbs actual gameplay? Maybe it will change in the future with harmony triat?

    Skills that combine a heal with a buff/synergy are always great because you can replace normal heals with them and therefore get more buffs/synergies out. Apart from that Energy Orbs are a great way to proc SPC, so definitely take that morph.

    Hmm... first I warn you 99% of people use healing orb. Now I recently tried mystic orbs. It is my experienced opinion that mystic orbs is definitely better choice for Templars healers who play in four man. Other classes don't have as strong of heal over time. Going future end game in 12 man content extra healing from orbs is too exceptional. So I hope that answers your question if not I can talk more.

    Does the energy morph provide still provide resources? They changed it a while back, but if it doesn't you want the morph that does.

    Yes both provide resources back. It's either stanima or Magicka.

    Depends on maximum stat (Stamina or Magicka)of person getting syngery.

    Both are good options. I’d definitely recommend you to use Energy Orbs for the harder veteran hardmode dungeons (last boss White-Gold Tower or Bloodroot Forge for example).

    Energy orb doesn't pull NPCs, while Mystic orb can. So you can shoot the healy orbs in whatever direction and not worry about unintentionally pulling before the group is ready.

    I was trying this out and it's very true. In overland, those orbs keep going as far as the next enemy group.

    Generally no, mutagen is more valuable but you'll want both if you can. I guess you could swap mutagen for orbs in a tight stack formation if you have to. I would replace healing springs in spread our fights, making sure the orbs float towards the tank.

    I wouldn't ditch orbs for mutagen tho. Orbs give resources out to the group, and you can have several out at a time. Shards does the same, but you can only have one thing out a time.

    I can tell you that sometimes the healing output of Energy orbs is greater than the Healing Spring's :D For example vAA last boss :D its super convenient to heal through Energy Orbs.
    And DPS and tanks will love these balls too. Happiness all around :)

    It's highly covient in larger arenas in trials, but yes if you don't want to primary be in 12 man dungeons then mystic orbs is better in it will output more group damage for group. It's what I would of done myself but greedy for heals. Might be more interesting with harmony buffing damage from this skill next patch.

    I would in trials ditch mutagen, but in smaller and more chatotic groups mutagen is better to have on with spc proc

    For a full healer, Energy Orb is amazing, and the preferred morph.

    I would agree, I have 2 full healers, one temp and on warden, I have shards on my temp and mystic orbs on my warden, to help with DPS and resources. My temp has energy orbs, in case I actually run a trial. I had energy orbs on my warden but between sanguine altar, combat prayer, Enchanted growth and illustrious healing/Mutegen, that was plenty of healing for the content I was running, need more DPS then just lightning wall and heavy attacks.

    How does damage from mystic work? On the tooltip it seems pretty small no?

    Still wondering about that damage...20k aoes could be interesting. Spc uptime could be upkeeped with ritual, blood altar and siphon spirit no?

    When someone synergizes the orbs, the synergy does an AOE burst damage hit, the highest I have had reported by other players, as I cant see the damage as it the damage is attributed and scales with the other player stats regardless of stamina or Magicka though it does use spell Pen, was actually around 30k, though the average is around 20k.
