My local game retailer, EB Games in New Zealand, has listed all physical copies of Summerset as being released on June 5, including those for PC. ESO's official website says release date for PC is May 21, and I can't find anything to indicate New Zealand has different release dates. I have emailed EB Games about it as I have placed a pre-order for the PC Collector's Edition and don't want to miss 2 weeks of playtime, but they have insisted May 21 is the only the release date for digital copies despite the official website's description of the Physical Collector's Edition saying otherwise. As many people have said, it already feels like anyone who orders the most expensive edition of the game is losing out with not getting pre-order bonuses right away (like the mess with the Senche Mount being advertised to be received right away, before ZOS changed the description), so this is yet another frustrating experience.
So is EB Games incorrect, or is there indeed a different release date for physical copies of the Collector's Edition on PC?
