I playeded the other elder scrolls games so I would play this - however I do doubt I'd be playing it as much. But I'd buy expansions and carry on same.
However I do like the pvp element I Never really thought I would, it definantly keeps me playing when I am bored and I'd miss it if it was removed but answering the question I bought the game for elder scrolls not thinking of anything but that so I would have bought it no doubt.

I don't have the regular schedule required for endgame group PVE. Without that and without PVP, there wouldn't be anything challenging to achieve in the game, other than VMA over and over again.

I don't think I would stop playing, but I would have roughly half as much to do.
Honestly, I think it would be interesting if they had a "PvP" server where you could flag outlaw and just go around mugging players. Could add Bounty Gain for Attacking other players, but you get rewards too.. Just.. Stuff.

Get rid of Pvp in Cyrodiil. There are some Pve there already, but plenty of room for stories to be told and quests to do to tebuild the realm after the civil war. Plenty of deadra to chase from Imperial city. You might lose some players, but the poll shows most people will stay.

Yup I started with PvE because I love the narrative + universe that was what drew me too the game. PvP was just a choice that came a long as a result of being bored with endgame.

Pve ends eventually.
If you're happy with your gear and the numbers you pull, you've done all the quests and you're happy with your achievements, done, that's it.
Which is exactly the point where I am now.
If it wasn't for pvp, I wouldn't log everyday as I do now, i'd probably log in for every new dlc/chapter.

yup, I'd still play. I don't PvP. I would love to have all the PvP skill trees absorbed into the other trees. I'd love to see Cyrodil set up as a PvE group based area with instances. I'd love to see the PvP toxica disappear from the game, and killing PvE enjoyment for the sake of PvP balance end.

Now, that being said, they could do much to balance out PvP w/o impacting PvE (such as separate skill sets for both). But in lieu of that, yeah PvP can go. No hate towards PvP players, but it's a half arsed attempt in this game anyways, and the dev time could to towards tweaking PvE content instead.

But it won't happen. So my only hopes is that they will eventually wisen up like most other MMO's are doing and separate the two completely.

I would. I would just need to focus on getting myself ready to do vet stuff instead of all the PvPing I'm doing now. Also, focus more on selling things and gathering all the motif pages and recipes and furniture plans I am missing still. But I think that I would find myself needing to find something else to play. I think I would get bored, log in less. I've done everything in the game at least once, except Craglorn, I just realized I never did the quests there. But that won't entertain me for too long, run it once and I'll be in need of more stuff to do.

Can you imagine how different this game would be without PvP?

The shape of Cyrodiil would be different, possibly effecting how the Dark Brotherhood was handled. As well it might have less reconned elements. Probably no Cropsford, the main bridge would exist, maybe the land would be more jungle like.

Rather than Coldharbour, Imperial City would likely be the last zone of the main story. That effects how future zones like Clockwork City would be handled.

There wouldn't be a reason to shoehorn races into three alliances. Instead of 15 regular zones and 5 starter zones across three alliances, there might be one starter island and a progression through nine zone, one per race, theme parked locked by a boat at the ports in Glenumbra, Wrothgar, Alik'r Desert, Auridon, Gathwood, Reaper's March, Stonefalls, Shadowfen, and Eastmarch. The borders might be different too. Glenumbra might stretch from Daggerfall to Wayrest. Cyrodill proper would be the vet zone, with likely no Craglorn then.

We would have different dungeons and trials.

While not having PvP doesn't bother me I would feel a loss from not seeing any more "(insert ability spec or gear) is OP" or "NERF (insert class or ability)" posts in the forums. :'(

I'd play until I'm done with all quest and then quit. Then come back on updates or DLCs and complete them then quit once more since there's no point in running the same trials or dungeons over and over.
