PvE is fun for the first time doing the quests and stuff. But the world feels boring and stale and nothing exciting happens. I bought Morrowind, did all quests and really have no reason to return to that zone. Same with other zones. At least PvP is exciting 24/7.
Without PvP for me this game would be over quick. Sadly the lag and loading screens ruin the PvP experience as well.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."
I prefer the mix of PvE and PvP and, for example without PvP I would miss my weekend horse riding simulator in Cyrodill.
If I had to have to choose then I would take PvE in ESO over PvP as there are other MMOs that do open world PvP.
Yes, in the knowledge that perfectly good skills won't be ruined for 'balance'.
good luck with that..

I'd prefer less massive than Cyrodiil PvP activities actually. Somethink like battlegrounds, yes, but for two teams, because it's damn lottery if three teams involved with probability of win closer to 1/3, than to 1/2. It feels unfair and discouraging.

Yes, while i am a huge fan of PVP, the pvp in ESO does not appeal to me very much. I dont play PVE centric games for PVP though. PVP is never done well in them.
Personally I hate pvp, it is boring as can be and not any fun at all so I would be happy with no pvp so I could poke about cyrodiil and do quests and explore. But I do not expect that to ever happen and I am fine with simply never going to cyrodiil or participating in any duels. I will leave that to the people who enjoy it, I will stick to dungeons and getting distracted by butterflies and treasure chests.
Pvp is the only reason I ever come back to this game at all after I take a break from it. If that went away, there would be 0 chance of me ever coming back.
You can only play the same PVE content for so long without it becoming completely stale.
Beware the battle cattle, but don't *fear* the battle cattle!
There are much better games to look at if you're just looking for a PvP experience. If it were the other way around and they got rid of PvE, yeah, I'd drop it in a heartbeat.
I just like friendly (and sometimes not so friendly) competition between players. I like the thrill of it, the sport of it. I like knowing every time I run into a player I have no idea what I'm about to fight. Maybe I'll get my butt handed to me, maybe I'll destroy them, maybe I'll have a half hour long intense 1v1 until the zerg sweeps over us washing one of us away. I like how no matter how good I get, somebody out there will knock me down. It's humbling, and quite frankly fun.
Yeah... It's fun. I mean, isn't that what games are about?

Personally, I wish that PvE and PvP games would remain separate. So that PvE players don't need to deal with PvP issues & players, and so that PvP players can play games that are fully designed and balanced around PvP (rather than the imbalanced minigames that tend to get duct-taped onto the side of primarily PvE MMOs, making no-one happy.)
Yes -Im a PVe player .
Anyway, every time Ive been to Cyrodiil it has been quite fun! But I dont go there much, cause it requires a special mindset when I want to go, and a special rl situation when I know I dont have to afk soon/in the wrong spot.
I would most likely keep playing but I wouldn't be happy to lose any content. Even if it were replaced by PVE content, I would miss being able to PVP with these characters.
