She is barely any role no sets just spams wrecking cleave and warden bear lol but she won

    She is now my Hero.

If ZOS doesn't add some obscure reference in their game about a 9 Year Old girl with a Bear Pet running around with a large weapon slaying Daedra and Undead for fun (or perhaps slaying a Dragon in an age long forgotten), my enjoyment of this game will be critically hindered.

They should add a locale with a child sized skeleton holding a maul with a bear skeleton next to it. Surrounded by 100 skeletons be like "E. Was here" on a lore note page

Love it. We need to make this happen!!!

@ZOS_GinaBruno - Can you give us a quick Update on WHEN this is happening? (Not if. You know deep down in your heart this MUST happen.)

Just scale a skeleton down a bit and let the artist and dev team do the rest

This is none of my business, I by no means wanna play spoilsport either.

Come on Guys, This issue shouldn't be discussed so openly, When Developers and ESRB rated game as Mature By No means Staff should acknowledge stuff like this. OP must be proud and we all played games before 18 which were Mature, But times have changed, In today's day and age of social media and arm chair activists, Staff Shouldn't acknowledge this and once thread has run it's course among gamer friends and community, Thread should be moved to blocked section.

OP, That's quite an achievement, You are rightfully feeling proud. I just said in above paragraph what I feel is in greater good of gaming community, Don't take it otherwise. I little deniability goes a long way for Staff, if chips are ever down for us gamers.

Call me a bit too cautious But there is a saying in my mother tongue which would translate into English as 'If You keep caution (regarding a particular thing) for 100 days, It will pay off only once' So being cautious and smart is a constant state of being, 99% of times nothing will come out of it, But You would thank me for that 1% of times.

All ratings (At least in the United States) are considered at the parent's discretion.
Even on Films ratings, [R] still explicitly states that Under 17 is with parent's consent.

[M] is likewise only a measure for Sale to persons under 17 without parental consent.

It really is up to the parents to decide what is appropriate for their children - And it's never stirred up any real controversy before.

Then it's OK, I might not be very well accustomed to These Ratings. I said what I said in best interest of everyone but probably with little confusion on legality of these tags in USA.

Actually in India there are three ratings U, U/A, A.

U is universal, anyone can watch alone irrespective of age. (unrestricted public exhibition)
U/A, means under guidance of adults kids above age of 12 can watch.
A- Adult, Anyone under age of 18 can't legally watch it even under parental guidance.

So Probably rules are little different in USA. and above Indian rating aren't specifically about Video Games but for movies/TV.

In the USA, our ratings are a little more Loose - And Parent's are expected to know what kinds of material their children can handle.
There are ratings such as [NC-17] and [X] for movies - No Children under 17 and Adults Only respectively
and [AO] for games - Adults Only

Any physical Game store in the States can easily have a 12 Year Old pick out an [M] rated game and have their parent buy it for them. It often leads to the "And you are fully aware that this game is rated M for Mature, correct?" line. After that, it's all smiles and thanks for the purchase, have fun, go run over some pedestrians for me Kid.

Back when I was close to her age, I was beating my first playthrough of Silent Hill 2 while my Mom and Dad watched. My parents decided that was fine for a young girl.
Honestly, this game is fairly tame as far as extreme content goes anyways.

My daughter is fairly mature in mentality she knows the differences of fantasy reality etc she just likes playing fantasy games and spending time woth parents

And to be fair eso is about as mature as pokemon with a few d word and b words tossed around blood is minimal inuendos are pretty far out there if your not looking for them. I feel like the rated MA was thrown in there to protect younger players from the toxic players who are by far more MA than the actual game

This game is M rated, you shouldn't endorse a 9 year old playing it.

It's not suprising that young players can learn and adapt so quickly.

It's between the ages of 6 and 10 that we tend to develop the most neuromuscular connections, and our visual/spatial skills tend to start growing.

I used to teach Martial Arts, and had quite a few parents that would come in with their "physically gifted child" at around 4 years old and swear that they could learn the martial arts. the MA are a physical system yes, but they require a great degree of Fine and complex motor muscle control that most kids simply don't develop until the ages of 6 to 10. inevitably, most of these younger kids couldn't do it.

But kids between the ages of 6-10? they're growth is a factor of 10 compared to many adults. It's the time in which these neural connections and pathways are built. Video games just happen to rely heavily on those kinds of connections. So really it's a match of timing and the perfect environment to develop those skills.

That guy just confessed his 9 year old daughter plays an 18+ game.

What's intriguing, a ZOS Staff member sees this violation and approves it.

You folks should read the ToS. If the parents allow their child to play a Mrated game with other adults that's not on ZOS. Besides, there isn't a single thing in this game that I would rate as mature. Minimum blood, zero gore, zero nudity, zero profanity.

I have know idea why this game would be considered inappropriate for children, than again I was playing games like gta long before I matched the rating.

I advocate for them to make content even easier, I want to play with my 5 year old kinsmen.

I thought the game was PEGI 18? Curious to find out your position regarding that ZOS!

Just thought it was funny she queued up for random vet after hitting cp 28 and oddly wasnt the one getting kicked they had to kick the other dps twice.. but in the end with 6 deaths she cleared it will the 2 key reward..

We often underestimate children! They actually learn things rather quickly, like some sort of knowledge-absorbing sponges!

She will probably grow up to be much better player than you or me, who got introduced to video games later in life, as opposed to her who grew up with them.

Oddly i started at about 4yrs old on mario sonic etc then moved up to demons crest, metroid, contra ,castlevania. She started about 6-7 on ds with sonic collection she doesn't have very good platformer reflexes.
