The Obvious NB Bias Is Sickening

WTF is this? Every single time Nightblades appear to be overtuned and dramatically ahead of the other classes, drones and drones of people swarm in to say, “Hey, NB’s are just perfect right now. They don’t need anything changed.” WTF? Why not Sorcs? Why not Templars and Wardens? Why not DK’s?

Sorcs were “perfect” when they had longer wards, and didn’t have a penalty on Bolt Escape. They were “perfect” when pets could hold aggro and taunt bosses, if the Sorc player was solo. But all that was changed, because it was viewed as “overperforming”. But Nightblades aren’t overperforming currently?

Templars were fine when they had their disorient and stun on their AoE spear, and when they had Major Mending. But no. That was viewed as “too strong”, and was striped away from them. They were fine when they could start using Radiant Destruction on targets below 50% health, but again. That was viewed as “too strong”. Yet Nightblades are fine and perfect, right?

And the F’ing DK’s. DK’s were fine when they could reflect Meteor. They were fine when their Fossilize has a larger range, and was capable of actually being front line soldiers. But again, all of that was viewed as far too much. And you cut them down patch after freaking patch. And again, Nightblades are fine. Right?

And then with the Wardens. Because people’s dodge roll monkey blades couldn’t cheese the damn birds, you go and give them a gut blow to their spammable. Because that was unfair to the vast majority of the player base (who just so happens to main NB’s). Am I right? And look at the state of magicka Wardens now. G freaking G.

But oh. Let alone mention anything about how much this game is plagued by the pestilence of Nightblades, and the waves of defenders come out of the bush like Charlie in ‘Nam. Literally ambushing the thread, and claiming how their precious class is “just perfect”. Yeah. I get it now. Just perfect at overperforming.

And you devs? You devs do nothing. You don’t do a damn thing about it. For years now you’ve done nothing about the Nightblade problem, but go and give them more and more tools to stand out and be the top class. Even streamers like @FENGRUSH has said on numerous occasions about how bs the class is, and how strong the element of stealth is in PvP. And again, it falls on deaf ears. Why? Because it’s the dev’s favorite. It’s the class that the majority of the player base mains across all platforms, and therefore you devs take the coward route. You’d rather go and give the shaft to every other class, and buff the most overperforming class (even if indirectly). Rather than do what’s right, and bring things in line with each other. And it’s stupid. It’s literally stupid.

I have said it before, and I’ll keep saying it. You devs are EXACTLY like Blizzard when it comes to Genji. The Overwatch version of a Nightblade. And because it is the “assassin character”, you all refuse to do what is right in bringing the hero in line with everyone else. Or in this case, the class. So my question is this, to the Rich Lambert’s and Matt’s and Wrobels. When are you going to give Nightblades a katana-esque ultimate, and add in some random dragon effects? When are you going to let Nightblades throw shuriken, and wall climb? When are you going to let Nightblade skills on cooldown have a reset whenever they assist in killing someone? When are you going to give the class an overall more Japanese vibe? Because pretty much, that’s all that is needed to have the 2 fall in line with each other. You already have the majority of the player base playing the class for obvious reasons. You might as well just put the icing on the cake, and be done with it. /rant

Seriously, most of the issues people have with other classes in PVP can be fixed with self investment, practice, and diversification of their toolset (builds). No need to go running to mom and dad because you can't get ahead.

the truth is that nightblade class is now and has allways been the weakest class in eso.
they need to make a new stealth rogue type class that has better skills then nightblades do.

Nightblades are currently the weakest class in ESO? Have you NOT played a magicka Warden? Have you not played a StamDK, or a MagDK? Have you not played a MagPlar?

Nah @KingYogi415 I slot detect pots and thanks to the reduced range they just fall back for 8 seconds or so then I cannot detect them and I'm out of a potion that can heal me in the more dire situations which happens to be when Incap comes as it provides like 2 or 3 debuffs plus stuns you regardless of your HP.

Nightblades are pretty annoying in PvP and that stems more so from their ability to continually cloak and dodge most of the damage that way.

The people who succeed in any game are the ones who argue for moving the goalposts further apart, not easier to score.

Believe it or not, I do know you, kiddo. You're the same @Ch4mpTW you've always been since the first time I saw one of your posts. You haven't changed one bit buddy, and that's just the honest truth. Self-help just apparently isn't in your lexicon, and you get the flak you do, because people are sick of trying to help someone who can't even stand up without bawling over the injustice of it all.

I know you. You're not unique, there's dozens of people like you on the forums alone, and the game notwithstanding.

And buddy? I play all of the classes. Mag, Stam, and some hybrid. Main magsorc, so make sure your aim's a little clearer before you pull the bias card.

Yeah, nightblades are pretty fine, a few minor tweaks would be good sure, but they aren't a poop tier class anymore and thats really nice. However Sorc, Templars, and DK to a lesser extent do need changes

Sorc needs more damage
Templar needs more stationary power
DK could use a slight cost decrease in a lot of their skills.

I would learn to adapt just like i did with any other class... its just funny i can hop on any other class and dont get wreaked by OP one shot maniac NB's (not that i don't ever fight good ones) and never have been oh damn theres a nb like i sometimes do with permaroot magdk ( not that i think its op just an example) and just walk away.

so maybe im just used to NB so i don't have issues with them at all but sounds more like people just dont know how to counter. or at least the ones that don't cry like babies on the forums.

whats sickening is seeing how bandwagoning everyone is on the forums. just because one person just sucks against NB's doesn't mean everyone needs to or agrees. they more i see post like this the less serious i take a lot of the "usual suspects" on the forums and just completely ignore anything else they say,.

NB has high burst they don't have to wait 3 seconds on the easily avoidable combo (stamina warden combo). They also can hold the burst anytime anywhere. They literally are the best class in pvp. And they are very great on pve also. NB has not been weak for few cycles now. Compared to the other classes, their dominance has remained unchallenged for quite some time. Not even stamina warden can come close to NB.

Honestly, every time I faced a Medium NB back then I felt like I was the one cheesing. CheeseDen And the nerf wasn't a gut blow btw

Right you still have to kill them, but detect pots are a hard counter to their best skill.

Yeah the point I'm making is when they back off most if not all nightblades have a ranged backbar so they hit you from afar, cloak (which still procs stealth bonus since you're out of detect range) and ambush into incap,etc.

The nerf to the detect pot range/duration was a stupid idea, the hard counter only works if it actually lasts a good amount of time e.g 15 seconds+.
