Magden build ideas?

Does anyone have any magicka warden builds or build idea to run this patch? And anyone who says it, yes I know magicka wardens are terrible right now and barley anyone runs them especially because screaming cliff racer can be dodged now, but I just feel there's some hidden potential in there somewhere and I would really like to resurrect it. So if anyone has any ideas or anything please share.

Probably a setup like 5 shacklebreaker and 5 necropotence is surely not bad. Not a magden specialist here, but those are sets suggested from other magden players.

That's what I'm currently running and no doubt the sustain is there but it just doesn't get the job done there's just no damage the only thing that does decent damage is screaming cliff racer but it just gets dodged now.

I think they just need to buff it, it makes no sense how the stamina warden Is basically meta in pvp and magicka warden is at the bottom.

I've been messing around with Tava's plus Gossamer, as a tanky healer type build.

It tends to work pretty well, but tanking/healing aren't really my forte.

The tree spam is honestly disgusting though, especially if you go with BloodSpawn. Earthgore is another option if you want to be more supporty

Magden has very high burst potential, if you can time several abilities together.
Damn hot combo for me was: shalks, frost clench, 2 times force pulse. I wore winterborn before an the damage was very nice when winterborn procced the right moment.
The most common combo is: shalks, cliff racer, force pulse.
If you get a meteor aswell, combo is even better.

I'm leaning more toward dps I know wardens are pretty good as being a healer and tank and I'll probably make a tank later on but for now my focus is purely dps or dps and slightly tanky.

I was looking into the winter born set I think I only need a necklace left I always deleted pieces I got from vma.

I've run Winterborn on my Magicka Warden in the past.

Though it's a lot of fun, the set isn't going to help your DPS much ... since it only procs during cold damage abilities. It's better suited for an ice tank build or for crowd control in PvP.

That was my experience at least.

Winterborn does proc nicely within Permafrost or the Ice Storm Destruction ultimate.

Double lightening staves, Necropotence, Julianos and 1 piece Iceheart (for spell crit).

Four pet skills on main bar for an 8% damage passive boost, inner light for 5% extra mag and spell damage, Northern Storm ultimate for the extra 8% magicka and it doubles as an oh sh1* button.

My Magden has 53k magicka with blue food.

I did a lot of testing of Juli v War Maiden and Juli beat WM every time although on the face of it WM should be better, but its not.
