Thanks...I wish I could but those are aggressive mobs. Sure was troublesome...and people keep killing prop thinking they were saving us.

That big snake is perfect. The angle, the lighting, position everything.

I personally would probably use photoshop or something to keep that.

I would probably try more of a commune with the snake type picture.

We tried for about two or three hours or maybe more. I agree though baby snake would been nice if wasn't there. We did try again but wasn't able get just right spot. We been writing story for this as prince is talking to small snake. Hmm maybe can try once more...if mobs are kind.

B is definitely a good shot, saturation is on point, scenery is very nice.

About the small snake the other user is referring, I think it's quite good it's faced that way, it seems the black character is taking care of it with some sort of mesmerizing move, while the other character can face the big one.


At any rate, I think PS editing, HDR makeover and/or any kind of ENB should be banned from this kind of contests in a mmo, the shots should be original and it should be rewarded the effort (as in this case I guess) to get in game the best light, environment and all the details that can add value to the shot.

Though it's nearly to impossible to determine if an editing took place (if subtle or truly well done), that's why should be best if they only reward the outfit idea leaving alone the rest. Btw if they take into account all of them, graphic/scenery too, this could be a winner.

B looks like a tough shot to take. I would definitely lead with it.

A is too dark, and there is too much 'empty' space in the picture, like there is nothing really to look at. C is too bright, and cluttered, too much in one image.

However B has the proper lighting of not being to dark or to bright. And it fills out the image somewhat evenly so it doesn't look too empty or too cluttered.

If you want to take good screenshots, I suggest you learn the basics of good composition. You can google out some tips for photography, it all applies to screenshots.
