The rates were pretty much the same for the first crates, the only difference is there was no Radiant Apex category.

According to testing done on the PTS when the first round of crates was available there your chance of getting an apex mount was approximately 0.25% (per crate, not per card).

Those low drop rates are why people buy hundreds of crates...then wonder why ZOS makes it so rare.

Maybe they're just... not as good this time? The dolmens are usually swarmed by a mix of Radiants and Apexes for at least the first few days, but not a single one of either passed by that I saw. Console chat was pretty "meh" about them in general; nobody cared.

Personally, I prefer more saturation and color variance in my sparkly garbage, and further, have no interest in more fire/ice/lightning/shadow themed critters; they were all fairly lackluster for me. I feel like they could've made this whole "dragons/Peryite" thing more interesting and cool-looking but dropped the ball. At least a lot of people saved money, so bonus?

thats not true you can preview them...just go to the store and instead of buying crates you preview its contents and there you can preview all the rewards

I didn’t know this either. Good to find out. Although now I think the Senche is misnamed.

RIP $200. The only senches I've seen were probably owned by devs since they get literally an infinite supply of crowns thus infinite and free chances at crates.

This. I suspect sales for this round aren't as good as before due to the designs.

I have seen the horse and the Senche. Whenever I do I turn around and go the other way. My jealousy can't stand the sight of this. Can hardly say that this is fair for all players. But it's all about, money...

Mhm the Radiant Apex mounts seem to be really rare this time. Haven't seen one or a YouTube video of someone getting one out of the Crates.

Does somebody have a video? Would love to see the reaction.

Actually, on PC/NA I spotted shadow senche three times and the wolf once (all in Wayrest)

Wolf looks amazing.. this shadow senche, it's not my thing. I can see how some people may find it awesome though.

I have only seen one on PS4 so far. The radiant apex mounts are meant for the whales anyway.

This is the thing with apex mounts and more so radiant apex mounts. During the first week a lot of people just gotta have them and people do have them. However, the next week almost all of them have reverted back to old faithful. That's why I'd never spend a lot of cash attempting to get a radiant mount. Not knocking others for the actual apex mounts as I did it myself with the spriggan senche mount. Really liked it, then went off all the flashy nonsense and reverted back to my normal mount. I did purchase the wolf mount this time around as I have never liked any wolf mount, but it's easily my favourite mount thus far. It's far bulkier than normal wolf mounts and it looks a lot better for it. A lot of people said the new mounts are boring and plain, but I actually think that goes in their favour too.

Longest I've kept an apex mount as my main.

Well the thing about these new Radiant Apexes are that they're sort of low-key in that they blend in fairly well since their skin without the particle effects look like regular wolf/horse/senches which imo is a nice change from the usual in your face type look of the crown crate mounts.

Also, my time playing 12 hrs total since 3/25 i've seen: 2 Shadow Senches, 1 fire wolf, and 1 lightning horse.

Agreed. I myself reverted back to my senche leopard. I would prefer using the brown bear from the orsinium dlc but i keep missing the anniversary sale ;-(

Bought three 15-pack crates today... was down to the final 2 crates and BOOM... up pops the Radiant Senche!! I couldn't believe it... especially since the ONLY mounts I ride are Senche. With the drop rate being so low, I never really expected it, but definitely wanted it.

And yeah, as far as seeing them in the game, I didn't see any other Radiant Senche's in the areas I was playing tonight... and previously recall only seeing one other running around Vulkhel Guard.

I saw the senche yesterday in Auridon. All I could think was: "I hope that player didn't spend hundreds of rl money on that."

It's nice but personally don't think it's worth stressing over.

I spent a few hundred, not exclusively trying for the mount, but because there were other things in the crates that I wanted... plus, I do find it fun to open them. Interesting how some people criticizing these crates, yet, I work with a LOT of people who go out to casinos and spend THOUSANDS of dollars to maybe, if they're lucky, win a couple hundred back... at least the things I do get from crates have some use, even if only for gems- better than spending thousands and winding up with NOTHING.

Iv got all 3 no I’m not a dev...yes I spent 500 bucks specifically until rng granted me my senche. Only after getting the other 2 and a dozen repeats of the standard apex did I get my beautiful senche

I saw all 3 yesterday at event locations as well as a adamantine senche, some of the skeletal ones, and a few frostfire ones from the flame season. I can't believe how many shiny mounts come out for events. In that one day I saw 3 mounts I had never seen before.

On a related note. I think the fiery wolf from this season is my favorite of all of them followed by the shock horse.
