    I just can't agree with that. I'd be fine with a necromancer class, but I really want it to stay within the lore.

    I don't think the rumoured Psijic stuff will be a class; guild line seems more likely. I'd love to see a new class, though; I'm an altaholic, but I don't like making alts of classes I already have... I can't do the whole stam/mag version of each class that a lot of people do, because they still feel too similar (even with bow/DW).

    Class aside We could maybe see some necromancy spells added with the conjuration part of spellcrafting. Thats whats so great about it. its not a set style of magic so there is alot of freedom. the possibility is there for some form of necromancy.

    No to the new classes thing. New classes are Baaad, Mmmm'kay, because it forces people to make yet more characters, and too many characters do drain all the enjoyment from a game; worse, it might really, really vex people who would have wanted the option for this or that of their characters due to the imagined backstory... and having to redo a character you played since launch and have i.nvested a lot of time in from scratch is rather annoying (as I found when it happened with the warden and the two nature-themed characters I made at lanuch as NB and Sorc...)
    Much better to make any new options in -some- way refittable to any character, no matter if newly created or played since launch! That way, -everyone- can benefit, and -everyone- will be content!

    No to the "Psijic-Necromancer" connection - the Psijics were entirely opposed to necromancy, as has been stated before. Lore breaking is bad too.
    I would assume Psijic skills to be more on the mysticism/psionic side of magic... thought projection, ESP, whatever. Stuff like that. But I guess we shall see what ZOS makes of it, won't we?

    Whoever said we need to break -any- lore to get necromancy?
    Its quite possible within the scope of the ESO lore!

    There is at -least- one necromancer around who is not one of Molag Bals bit... uhm... cronies. So the lore supports it to be possible - if Vastarie can do it, why not players too?

    Lore-wise there are two possible ways to easily bring Necromancy to player characters that I can think of off the top of my head.

    One would be allowing "prestige classes" for all characters, and simply making Necromancer one of the options for Sorcerors to specialize in, whereas Vastarie would make a -perfect- "advanced class trainer" for that one (with a nice little quest to convince her of your worthyness to learn from her - and loads of other "specializations" your character can learn from other "advanced trainers" all around tamriel!). See my old Class Morph idea...

    The other would make it part of a whole guild-siked DLC, like TG or DB... going with a "infiltrate the remains of the Worm Cult to learn what their next dastardly scheme is" plot, having your character grab some magical disguise effect or whatnot (like the fluff piece that covers Cadwells for example) as to not be recognizable as the gal/guy who kicked Molag in his Bal and join them as "new recruit", learning the "necromancy" guild skill line as you progress in the story, yadda, yadda, you get the idea right?

    There you have it. Necromancy for players, and no lore would be hurt in the making of it! ;)

    Because the psijjic's seem to be able to make whole islands disappear... I think they will have illusion magic and maybe a teleport or something similar to cloak.

    I think that necromancers are possible as class but... Psijic is psijic and necromancer is necromancer. They are two different things. That's it

    Didnt he get kicked out BECAUSE he was dabbling in necromancy??? How would an anti-necromancy order all of a sudden become the necromancy class????

    I honestly think spellcrafting can have a few necromancy spells without it being tied to any class per se. Then necrophi.... *cough* necromancers can have their fun roleplaying or whatever fun it is you get watching other stuff fighting when you just stand around not really doing anything.

    I highly doubt we'll get a Necromancer skill line in relation to an Order that utterly despises the practice of necromancy.
    Having said that, nothing is impossible with Zenimax.

    1) Wasn't the icon that was datamined grouped with the other guild lines when it comes to come gain ? Making the Psijic Order a guild skill line for the next dlc.

    2) No problem with them adding necromancers, but it would be 100x better if it was a new guild skill line.

    3) If the next dlc has both the Psijic order skill line and spell crafting then it's basically equivalent to another class to me. They don't need to introduce a class each year.
    Crown Crates are a trap. Don't fall for the gamble! Balance? What Balance? Balance, smellance.
    Necro for them RP feels.
