    It is true, with all the free crates I managed to get last season from various different crate weekends, I did manage to get enough gems for the mage guild sentry cat that I wanted, but the gem conversion rate is not great

    What cat is in the next lot of crates then? I keep seeing mention of a cat but the crates aren't out yet so I can't check

    Maybe for the next free crates weekend you should avoid logging in, this way you can't get any free crates to make you feel negative. :trollface:

    Only thing I was "meh" about ... emotes as I don't use them. The shalk aka "FungusPuppy" is kind of cute and the other stuff (potions, poisons etc.) is useful one way or the other. I'm not unhappy, but I'm not ecstatic either. :smile:

    I’ll be honest with you. If it was the tiger cub, I wouldn’t even be that insulted. Let alone disappointed and sad. Listen to me for a moment. If I want a cat to stare at, I have leopards scattered about my cherry blossom garden. Both regular and clouded. To get a house cat is like, “Yeah? Are you serious? I have big cats guarding my property, and you think I can work with a house cat?”

    See, I would think people would be happy with free crates that are so lousy they convince you never to actually pay for one... because they ensure that you'll never waste any crowns on crates.

    Isn't that a good thing?



    (I had similar thoughts when I read that CoD:WW2 was going to make opening crates a spectator sport.... seems like way too much of a risk that people can see a crate being opened, and think "wow, that's it? Why would I want to pay for one of those?")



    edit: and yep, worst set of free crates for me so far. Potions, potions, even more potions, potions, mimic stone, repair box, 2 different headwear, and an emote I'll never use. 11 gems to throw on the pile, though.

    I kinda suspect the zombie skin is just a reused launch asset. Which makes me really surprised it ended up in the crates.

    i had about 50 flame crates and did not get one apex item.
