How do you have a sale for a motif that is originally $60USD (who even is paying $60 for the Celestial motif lol?), and price at $50? Like that is a huge deal right there. I mean, you have the 3 day slashed price marker and everything. Y’all are tripping hard at ZOS HQ.

✭✭✭✭They really need to take this motif out of the crown-store. At this point it solely exists to trick new players into wasting their money on it. There is no other reason for it to be in there.
Edit: the more i think about this the more angry it makes me. Someone at ZoS actually went through the crown store, saw this at 6000 crowns, and instead of saying, geez this should really be removed, they put a sale on it to further deceive new players who are un-aware at the price of the set in gold. ✭✭My first months on the game, I spent crowns on the basic racial motif book pack, not realizing how easy it was to get them in game. At least it was only eso plus associated crowns. So I've been that sucker as a new player also.3 -

Lmao. I lowkey bought the Dwarven motif book from the Crown Store a long time ago. Becuase at the time, the pages were stupidly expensive. This was back when the Daedric motif was selling for 80k to 90k. And the Ancient Elf motif was selling for 60k to 70k. Daedra Hearts back then were selling for as high as 25k a piece in some traders.

Now, they're around 50-100g, but at the time, yeah, 250-1k. I made a lot of money back then offloading blue motifs.1 -

ZOS seems to consider the celestial motif to be a "premium," style, along with Dro-m'athra, glass, and a few others. In most cases, that status doesn't really reflect how rare the motif is in game, so much as how rare, ZOS thinks it should be.1 -
That's outrageous, at the very least they should actively track down and refund anyone duped into purchasing that.
And no I don't buy the excuse they shouldn't be so daft.
It almost feels like fraud it is such a sneaky underhand marketing decision.11 -

It was 600 gold for one of my level 50's with 100+ skill points. 700 crowns vs. 600 gold.
Thats just plain predatory pricing. Like charging $20 for an extra ketchup packet at McDonalds.5 -
